U3 Problem Installing
-
I downloaded the torrent ok and it seeded fine and created the exe file. When I clicked on that file, it opened the dialog box with the downloaded files and installed files. When I clicked on the U3 the text all turned blue for that line, however, the NEXT box stayed greyed out. I am not sure what I did wrong. I removed and reinstalled the update several times with the same result. Any help would certainly be appreciated.
Thank you,
Raven;)

Did you install to your BMS setup folder (not your install folder)?
Other people seem to have had similar problems and managed to continue using a custom “setup.ver” during the install process. A forum search might come up with something.
Hope this helps & all the best,
Uwe

Your further along than I am. I can’t even figure out how to find the version number of BMS I currently have installed. LOL

A quote from Dunc’s U3 release post:
(5) After the update, when starting BMS, the version string in the BMS UI will now read:
Falcon BMS 4.33.3 (x86/x64) Build 16068The string line is located in the bottom of the main UI screen after launching BMS.

Having the same issue. See Tech support thread

I don’t see those red arrows in my UI… so something went wrong?
//Arty runs and hides… :rofl:

make sure u install it on top of BMS.U1 and not BMS vanilla. Delete the BMS vanilla and keep in your PC only BMS.U1

I have downloaded the torrent file and seeded it and this all went okay. I, then, opened the file and the dialog box opened with the downloaded and currently installed updates. However, the NEXT box was greyed disallowing me from going any further. The downloaded box showed 4.33 U3 (32MB) as the newly added update. Why did the NEXT box not activate?
Any help will be appreciated.

did u installed U2?
-
please check in the installed products window on the left if the BMS 4.33 is there. if it is, that is your problem. the Updates 2&3 must be installed on top of BMS U1
-
Dee-Jay- yes , that (u2) still what I’m seeing there, and Arty is right, no arrow;)
Also, yes , Arty, U2 is installed. -
Same issue here. U2 is installed
The only thing i did not do “right” is making a typo when running the incremental exe and the files where extracted to a wrong directory. Deleted the directory and ran the exe one more time so the files are where they are supposed to be to update the installation.
Update: Used 3rd party app to forcefully enable the disabled items and installation continued with no issues. U3 is now installed

Is this what your Setup folder should look like ?
-
3rd time
u MUST NOT HAVE bms base installed
-
And your Setup Window.
a picture is worth a 1000 key presses.
-
You can have BMS Installed’
First make sure you have the original base falcon4 installed.
Youre not installing U3 Into the bms folder it goes into the BMS Setup installer from Turrent / BMS Installer / BMS 4.33.U1 Don’t copy / paste the installer will ask where to install go to 4.33.1 .exe which should have already have U1/U2/ inside from there check the U3 box and hit next -
Fix: (Thanks to Polar)
Instructions: Download the setup.ver here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/151cdyfy3uz88ah/Setup.Version.zip?dl=0
Second Link: https://mega.nz/#!CpJFUYCQ!3x38uaUTPDIK0FIdOxOFk0XekBBaUXuDrA56smYfVu4
Put it in “[FalconBMS]\User\Config\Setup.ver” (override the old one [but make sure you make a copy of the old one])
Rerun the setup.exe
