THE BAD NEWS IS - i just tested it - by joining with 2 players on the FO server or/and hosting between us privately (dogfight matchplay) , that the function (aka keystroke)
[[ SimFuelDump -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “CKPIT: Dump Fuel” ]] still works,
meaning people can dump fuel in matches post-merge (the real F-16 can not dump fuel from internal tanks !)
please BMS Devs… address that minor, but for us “dogfighters” troubling issue with next update 4. Lock that keystroke in MP that (if possible), or kick it out completly.

Bluewolf… with all due respect.
The whole dogfight community uses the “dogfight module” for matchplays, quick trainings-hops - BFM and ACM, tournaments etc etc. and to stay “in the loop” (without taking off and flying 200nm just to meet bandits and just to fullfill the “pseudo wanna-be realism” touch). For THAT we have the campaign- and TE-missions!!!
I mean, i hear (and heart before) your notion of “gaming the sim” (gamers) and “me is the more realistic approaching guy” misconception - you would be suprised how wrong you are with that attitude by looking that way at people you haven´t flown with yet.
So you comment was … well… erm…yeah.

Real F-16 Does not spawn at the HANGAR too…Disable campaign and TE.
EDIT: There was a script to block a specific callback but that did not work for 4.33 TE. Don’t know if Falcon script works for Dogfight mode either.

You missed the point (well, color me surprised). Use whatever justification you like for your request, but dont use as justification that its not realistic, because that is not your concern - as highlighted above.
Instead say what you mean, that you want it to be an anti cheat device for the game you play.

This dump-fuel topic is as old as Falcon … i thought it was fixed (among other things which GOT fixed) … that one probably got forgotten maybe.
PS: i dont think, it is only “me” who is not happy with that.

The only “use” offline of it is to make performance benchmarks under different Grossweights… but in MP it really has no purpose nor justification.
PS: It is not only about the probability of others maybe not playing fair… as much “athmosphere-poisening” ! is the probability of others suspecting “you” too.

But I do not think code will introduce more active anti-cheat (you can always cheat anyway) … and look, equal to dump fuel, you stay full Afterburner with AB in low level, tanks are also empty in few minutes … and what if if no more fuel => the other win.

Fuel-management is part of the matchplay. Eta 8min AB combat time yes.
PS: it isnt really an ACP expansion… just a little fix as was done similarily before by removing the 1.5x thrust-mulitplier callback from .32 to .33.

when a player is kicked off from a TE, when he rejoins, he will get full fuel, in that case , fuel dump is usefull to get back the original fuel quantity before losing connection (of course you can cheat and keep full)
so in that case, fuel dump is an anti cheat feature

Yep second that request, Hornets players may need to dump fuel before landing on a carrier.

Simple… just disable it in the dogfight module … and keep callback functioning in TE and Campaign. I think that is what he will do?

Didn’t realize that you were in charge of how people justify their requests or what they state in their posts.

Could we change its behavior slightly from dropping 1,000 pounds per callback press to a toggle that dumps fuel at a more realistic rate? Pretty please?
