On the SAAB Gripen
-
so the gripen has FLIR, because every purchase a-c has come with a spare engine and the external pod, and every unit on assembly now is going to be integrated, also, in the “next gen features” part of their export package the first bullet is “FLIR”
you all know better than SAAB, and I’m attacking the community by being right and unapologetic. Can you say “sophistry” ten times fast? do you know what it means? can you provide proof that in fact you are a pilot and that you went to college at all? should my poorly thought out questions of your expertise be thrown at you anytime you speak from it? dogmas get you killed, but I’ve never met an argument based on a belief in no evidence, that you can beat me in an argument…
there were grown ass men with full military careers who failed that test, and they had evidence and me in the room with them. Good luck. (that’s what bragging looks like, for future reference) If I actually listed my accomplishments, some of the things I’ve seen, touched, and been involved with intimately from drawing board, nay, from light bulb above engineer head, you’d probably kiss my feet. If you’re a real pilot, have ever suffered G loc, or got anything out of research done at Nellis, know someone who died from G LOC…the list goes on.
I have this thing about fitting into unfounded accusations, call me an asshole, I’ll play the part, call me a braggart, yeah, I’ve been working in the highest art for the past 15 years on things that won’t exist until your grandsons argue about them on the internet.

So what?

red dog, you are in the business of escalating things by telling everyone to shut up, did you ever notice how well that works? Let’s peruse the graveyard of dead talent and artists around your community for evidence.
I’m first party, I’ve got a pass that lets me into a building in burbank you’d kill to get into. If my expertise and knowledge is unwanted, if this is the par for the execution of the community, I’ll gladly slide back into plausibile deniability, it’s what I’m trained to do.
Did you get any moderator training? pouring gasoline on a fire is not an effective means of extinguishing it. If you want, I’ll give you my physical address to my office, when I’m back in country I’ll bring you over for a little consultation. More than likely you’ll just delete this, and slide back into your hole of plausible authority based on an argument from it.
laughable, at best.You’re right!
The fire is now out.
I’m sure you prefer this way. -
I saw that coming from day one. I watched but I didn’t eat any popcorn; some beef jerky though. I could have posted some things, but I knew better; been there done that.

Anyone having a Cockpit Layout Description?
-
3d cockpit for the Gripen in bms is on the way ? Or may be some people have informations ?
-
If you Google “JAS 39 cockpit” it seems that there are a lot of pictures out there, but not “enough” that one could use them to construct a complete cockpit…frustrating. There also seem to be a number of variations.
-
Jas39c use default bms viggen 3d pit.
Jas39d use Qawa 3d pit…limited functionality. -
thank for the information :munch:
-
there is a spanish or czech book called “superfighters” and in it there are complete cross sections and diagrams for most of the 4th and 5th generations. In it there are many cockpit layouts with numbers and titles for every button and knob.
-
I think it would be fine to link Gripen pit to EFT (if included)
-
It’s a beautiful aircraft. I love it too!
-
Jas39c use default bms viggen 3d pit.
Jas39d use Qawa 3d pit…limited functionality. Thanks a lot for these infos, ccc, it’s all clear now.
