Livrot Mic Command - Preview Release

Hi Torvil,
Here are som more feedback.
I tested some examples as describe in LMC manual and :
*Artificial Speech Feedback p44 :
Error : Desired voice not available
green led flashing until clicking ok on error window*Sound File Playback : in macro event builder and course, confusion between double2, double3, int2 and int3…
*Open / Run File p46 : event #1 step3. ‘param 1 data type’ select ‘bool’
doesnt exists in macro event builder (same in evnt#6 and #8 above)Some others strange behaviour :
- Maybe the lmc-temp_folder should be deleted even iwhen an error occured!
-Errorlog doesn’t show all crashes. LMC crashed at least 2 times as i tried to resize le editor windows, and nothing writen in the Error log file
-
It is impossible to load directly a working and saved profile. The only way to load a profile I saved is to open first LMC then open the profile without settings. It is very anoying !
here is the Log file : -
I was used to use 2 profiles when running BMS, 1 for UHF, the other for VHF, with 2 LMC program running. I program my Warthog with target with 2 events on each UHF and VHF button : 1 is DX and the second event is the hotkey for emulating PTT in LMC. Today, I can run BMS (in window or fullscreen mode, no matter) and talk with 1 profile, the Hotkey used is ‘'.
As ‘Verr Num’ is not working with LMC as PTT hotkey, I would like to make the 'CTRL’ hotkey as my second PTT. In LL-eater HK, I can’t make it running with Target. Any advice?
As soon as I will make my 2 pofiles running I will post them here. All placeholders and synonyms are working fine, I had to erase all responses from my 2015 profile.
As recommanded in the manual if using a CRTL key, I tried to make a LL HK with down and up events. But once I register {CTRL}* when I try to edit it, I can’t hit the ‘eat key up event’ … ?
-
thanks a lot!
did you try and select another voice in settings/sounds/command feedback already?
the profiles I saved like the crash course profile could be loaded directly by clicking on them (when lmc is not running - do you mean with lmc being started already?)
if the key release events have not been recorded ‘eat key up’ can not be selected for that hotkey. (if you could please tell me which page of the manual recommends this for LL hotkeys using ctrl, I would like to take a look at that part)
I will look into all this as soon as possible.

Hi Livrot
here is some more feedback.
It seems that, sometimes, with no logical behaviour, LMC doens’t play the macro, even if the LOG indicates that it does (and after speech recognition feedback indication of course).
It applies not only in game but with NotePad too.
I would say that it appears in around 20% cases, but with no real mesure of the phenomena -
Hi.
One more question. I made a file combining BMS and DCS. I want to integrate the frame per second counter in DCS but can’t find the right key in Livrot from the dropdown list. When I set left control with break key (Pause) it doesn’t work. Using the event monitor of TARGET, the right key is named control-break. I didn’t found such a key in the dropdown list.

Hi Foxmike,
when you have the lmc editor window open, click on the red ball icon showing a ‘K’ and press CRTL + BRK.
The BRK or PAUSE key is the second key to the right of the print (screenshot) key.
Then click on the red square (stop) icon.
Now click on the blue ‘+’ icon and the recorded key presses are added as events into a new/fresh created command.
All that is left to do is to open that command and give it a phrase.Regards,

Heads Up!
Voice Attack Profiles can be loaded into LMC (actual version).
Simply rename the .vap file into a .xml file and load it from LMC.I just checked it using this one:
VAC profiles can be loaded into LMC, too.
(DJ’s VAC profile for French keyboard) https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?8323-DeeJay-s-Voice-Activaded-Commands-(VAC)-Profiles&p=102541&viewfull=1#post102541… and Keyspeech profiles, also.
Do not forget to save the profile afterwards to complete the conversion.
LMC licenses can be had for free here, PM or post your username (from livrot.com).

TorvilHi.
I tried that several times but that doesnt work. I got:
Temporary macro is empty. No command created.
This report shows every time even when other keys are pressed, although my keyboard works fine and in preferences temp macros are allowed. So why is the recording not working? Any other forgotten settings?
Thanks for helpEdit: mouse temp macro recording works well, but the keyboard shows no reaction when recording

LMC is still ‘funny’ in some regards ……
are you using a laptop?
then try clicking on an opened notepad window just before pressing the key combination.hope this helps.

foxmike, I just checked the drop down list the BRK (break) key is called {Pause} in there.
please try that one, too. -

Now I got it working, it was indeed the keyboard, a KeySonic with touchpad. Using a LogiLink keyboard the recording is done correctly. The right key in the drop down list is named CANCEL, but of course it is the BREAK or PAUSE key on the keyboard.
Thanks for support, I am lucky now. -
Hi.
Another problem just after updating to the actual LMC and Windows 10 updates . LMC now always forgets my mic button on my Warthog throttle (running without Target). When I start LMC the first time, there are several warnings about lost USB devices and now missing LLHotkeys. I never changed the USB ports of my HOTAS. I plug the Warthog off an on, then it is recognized and I can record the Dx2 button as Mic. I safe settings and close LMC. I restart LMC and I got another warning that an USB Device change occurred, what in fact never happened. Nothing helps, I even edited the Mic settings not to be bound to only one device. I have to record my Warthog button after every restart of LMC, and after restart or reboot of the PC I even must unplug plug my Warthog first. Whats wrong after the update?

Sorry, the LMC hotkey system got rewritten and these bugs surfaced with the rewrite.
I will investigate this. What do you mean by ‘you save settings and close LMC’ - did you save the profile again, too?
-
Yes, I saved profile and as standard auto load profile with settings, but of course I have always a backup for the case it gets damaged.
-
I tried to go back to version 160807, but it seems to conflict with any last Windows updates. I even turned firewall and anti virus off, but LMC does’t run, it always hast to be closed by Windows 10 because it STOPPED WOKING. This was, by the way, the reason I tried the newes LMC version, because the old version didn’t work anymore since a few days exactly after the last Windows updates. I can install 16807, click the license agreement and when I press CONTINUE LMC stops working.
-
to use older lmc versions with win10 try this:
open the lmc folder (from the menu/file/open lmc folder)
right click on the 4.5 MB LMC main file and select properties
click on the compatibility tab
check ‘run this program in compatibility mode for’
and select ‘windows 7’ from the listI hope it helps until an update is ready.
-
Thanks.
I got 170408 running now. New istall, make all hotkey settings first, exit, start LMC and hotkey still works, then at least I load profile with settings and this time it works, even auto load on restart. I avoid saving to profile and maybe thats the solution……but the USB device change still shows when the profile is loaded, although Warthog mic is working well. So I try not to change any settings now, my luck I did finish my profile for BMS and DCS the last time as all was working normal.edit: the install process didn’t accept my old license key and I wasted two keys still using the same PC, could you refill my account? I use the same ID as here.

Windblow (Wingedsky) had the same issue before.
You should be able to save your profile whenever needed.
First try ‘Save As’ and check by loading that one (with setttings) though!–-General Information—
Until the update comes: Always load old profiles without settings, then set hotkeys up and save it under a new name.
(Do not load a profile with its settings if it was not saved from the actual version before.)

I will try to update your account within 24 hrs.

Hi Livrot , any update coming soon ?

Hi.
I installed several new USB game controllers but one of them can
t be recorded as LL-Hotkey. No button of that device (Leobodnar USB interface) shows up in LMC, but shows well in BMS or even the Win10 gamecontroller setup and event tester. There is no "eating" software like TARGET running. So I can
t imagine why this device doesn`t work with LMC. Is there any device setting with influence to that problem? And second question: I want to use two USB devices alternatively with MIC PTT buttons, but I can only record one alternative as DX Hotkey for MIC in Livrot as I can see. Is there a way to use 2 USB devices with seperate PTT buttons within one profile or must I always switch LMC profiles ?
