Rybo's Profile - Never disappearing, No shifted layer, Easily customized

Just installed your profile everything works well. Except when I load your profile in the target script my lights on my warthog throttle go out. Is that suppose to happen. And if so how can I turn them on while using your profile, other wise every button works great just the lights on my warthog throttle go out when I run your profile in the target script

I coded the lights to turn off as that’s my personal preference. I can’t recall the specific lines of code off the top of my head but near the top of the .tmc file there are a few lines of code that I believe I included comments for that should describe their functionality.
Open the .tmc in notepad (or, more preferably, in notepad++) and you should be able to find the code. The numeric range is from 0 - 255 IIRC, 0 being off and 255 being full brightness. Be sure to save a backup before you tweak. Cheers.

Aloha Rybo
I really like your script. I need to add my rudder pedals and I have no clue as what I need to do. Any help would be awesome. I just picked up the Thrustmaster TFRP pedals. Mahalo -

I really like your script. I need to add my rudder pedals and I have no clue as what I need to do. Any help would be awesome. I just picked up the Thrustmaster TFRP pedals. MahaloOpen the .tmc file with your text editor of choice (I recommend notepad++).
Near the top you will see code that looks like this:
Configure(&HCougar,MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&T16000, MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&LMFD, MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&RMFD, MODE_EXCLUDED);Directly below that, add the following line:
Configure(&TFRPRudder, MODE_EXCLUDED);
Your code block should now look like this:
Configure(&HCougar,MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&T16000, MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&LMFD, MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&RMFD, MODE_EXCLUDED);
Configure(&TFRPRudder, MODE_EXCLUDED);That should get you squared away and allow you to assign rudder and toe brake axes in the BMS UI.
Cheers!

1/ Rybo, thank you. I found an excuse to thank you for this profile I’ve used from the beginning of my “Warthog era”, even though I adapted it secondarily.
2/ Creator’s Update knocked this morning. I said “Ok, come on and let me see”. I saw. I reverted to previous version of Windows. I’m surprised no one came here in this thread and mentioned it though, but let’s make it clear: no CU for now with TARGET, right?
Take care guys.

Rybo, thanks for your work on this profile, i just started to use the WARTHOG HOTAS and i find that your profile is very good.
I got an idea but i don’t have the skills right now to do this . . . i tried to play with the script editor but no success . . .
I would like to turn ON one of the leds on the throtlle base when i switch on the ACMI (and turn it off when ACMI OFF).
Can it be done ?

Ok, i made it work
//ENG FUEL switches
MapKey(&Throttle, EFLNORM, CHAIN(PULSE+L_CTL+‘o’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1), LED(&LMFD, LED_INTENSITY, 255))); //ACMI ON
MapKey(&Throttle, EFLOVER, CHAIN(PULSE+L_CTL+‘d’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1), LED(&LMFD, LED_INTENSITY, 0))); //ACMI OFF -

Was thinking of trying this profile, Lorik, do you mean that target doesn’t work with the creators update? I’m running it as far as I know at the moment but I don’t use target as yet.

I’ve not had any problems with TARGET and the Creators Update.

Rybo hi. Me and my friend “bullseye” are using your profile in our flights. however, today my friend took an interesting error on the bms key list which seen on User interface. we made all settings just like you show us in instructions document, and also we connected TFRP. here we go, we loaded rybo’s key file on UI, then pressed the button on stick or throttle… we take “no function assigned.” error. we dont know how this is happened, because it was working without problems. here the ss on the attachment.

Yes, I’ve noticed this bug from time to time. IIRC the controls will still work once you are in the jet, but I can’t remember for sure.
-
Actually, I also recall that editing the keystrokes file in any way could cause this as well. So if you attempted to re-assign something in keystrokes that would be the cause. The solution is to replace the keystrokes file with an un-altered copy from my profile package.
Cheers!

Waited for the fall update. It seems to be working now.

First post updated with V3 of my Warthog profile. I took your suggestions and implemented them as best I could, I moved some things around, and I cleaned up the code a bit more. Here’s a quick recap:
- Updated the Antenna Elevation and the MAN RANGE up/down controls. They are now DX binds instead of axes to give much more precise control of elevation and TGP zoom.
- Simplified the package by only including one version of the profile with Next and Previous Steerpoint on the China Hat.
- Removed the “AWACS declare” from the Mic Switch Push to allow people to assign it as their Teamspeak PTT.
- Courtesy of regev, the LED next to the ACMI switch illuminates when the ACMI switch is in the ON position.
- Changed the External Lights on/off placement on the pinky switch and made them keyboard emulation.
- Trim Reset on CMS Push is now keyboard emulation.
Cheers!

How do I fix it so that the right part of the throttle uses the right engine. incase I want to fly f-18?

That would require some code changes. I’ll try to whip it up this weekend for you.

edit nevermind i was doing something wrong. Glad this profile is around. I like it.

Hello Rybo…
Question, would it be possible to create a small shifted layer where pinky lever+trim hat restores view functionality? I’m kind of missing having my external view on the trim switch POV. I’m afraid I’m really not that capable with coding/scripting so I’m a bit lost.

Sorry, I can’t accommodate requests anymore. I’m no longer actively involved with BMS and I’ve moved on to other things in life.

Hi. When I run the new profile, Falcon resolution is 1024x768. I can not change the graphics settings. How can I solve the problem? Thank you.
