YAME64 suite

yes, giù can click mouse and you should not loose focus on bms wundow
-
Confirmed, I use BMS in “-window” mode always and my touch screen with Helios works without a problem.
Only downside is that sometimes the toggle to enable/disable 3D mouse doesn’t seem to work and when I press something on my touchscreen, it also clicks where the mouse pointer is in my pit. Accidentally fired EPU because of it once -
On another note ! Is a second set of digital engine instruments (for engine two) in the future of this super program ?

There will be full support for 2-engined aircrafts.

Yes, it’s been on the roadmap since v1.1
See http://www.yame64.com/download/changelog/ on the right side under ‘roadmap’, bullet 5 -

Interesting… never had that issue with my enable/disable function. Are you sure it’s disabled? There should be a message coming up on the left side of the screen.

I’ll check, never noticed some message on the left though, so probably not working for some reason.
-
Definitely have some text message to confirm mouse enabled/disabled.
-
Nope, never see that. Although when using both Helios as manual keycombo via keyboard it does show correct toggle callback in bms config controller ui
-
Interesting… don’t know what to tell you there…

Guys,
Can someone help me - I have had a strange death of YAME tonight. Everything was working 2 nights ago when I was flying, and YAME has been working flawlessly for me since I installed it about 3/4 months ago. However, the problems tonight started when I tried to load YAME - but it didnt appear in the desktop like normal. All that happened was that the task bar application symbol of YAME loaded, and when you hovered over it, it showed the mini picture of the YAME screen like i would expect to see on my desktop - but NOTHING was there at all. Tried restarts and switch offs - nothing would actually get the application to load as normal.
I have then tired an uninstall/reinstall of YAME. Reinstall seems to have worked BUT, when I try to load the YAME short cut I get this message (about 3-6times):
“the code execution cannot proceed because sfml-graphics-2.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem”Can anyone help? I am totally lost

SFML is a library used in Yame, no idea why this should suddenly be gone :s
-
Well, would that not be put back in when he re-installs YAME?
Sharpe, do you delete the YAME folder when you uninstall it?

Yes. And I have since uninstalled and deleted it. No joy.

I wonder if you can install YAME and someone sends you the appropriate .dlls if that will work?
-
How about you try to run yame from the actual folder instead of the shortcut? Perhaps the shortcut points to an exe in the wrong folder.

Hello, I’m new to YAME, but not Falcon 4. My intention is to implement YAME where previous older version of BMS and SP use to have a view called “cockpit ghost MFD” - which unfortunately does not exist anymore. So far, I’ve been able to get the client to display MFD and some instruments - looks good, and thanks to whomever has provided YAME as such an elegant solution. However, I’m noticing that when in the 3D world, and outside of the cockpit views like “chase” for example - the YAME objects do not update until I’m back in the jet? Is there a configuration setting or something to enable YAME to display/update the MFD’s and instruments while the view is say “chase” or something similar?

There is no such a setting for yame. I need to look what state is set when looking outside the cockpit so to update the shared memory even in those situations.
