Thank you millions Jan. You made an excellent aircraft again.
It’s an aircraft I’ve been waiting for so long. Perfect in one word.
Best regards.

F-16DM-40 LOD1 poly work is done. It will have 5 sets of skins but since normally only 2 D’s are available in each real life sqaudron I’m two tails short. I was thinking of adding the sister squadron (35th/80th for example) as number 3 and 4 on the tail skin. Just if they borrowed the jets. The same for the Aviano models. Each set will have it’s own texture number so it can be changed if users want to. I still have to think about a solution for 36th FS #3/4 tails…

Apologies for such a newbie question but with 22 pages to read and after trying a couple of searches, I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction….
I’ve never installed JanHas skins or models before but I suspect all this entails is copy the relevant .lod, .jpg, and .dds files to the correct folder, yes? Is there any other method to do this or is everything done manually? I was hoping that there would be a procedure allowing users to quickly switch between normal stuff and JanHas items…
Thanks in advance!

It’s indeed done manually. Even I could do it and I’m no specialist in the matter, so no worries.
What I’ve done, is just copy the altered folders first and rename those to <foldername>-orig. Then to switch between them I just rename the orig back to the original and rename the modified to <foldername>-janhas.</foldername></foldername> -
I can’t find it on the site either?

@NIL:
I can’t find it on the site either?
Works fine here.
Bottom left, new image saying “F-16DM-50 v2” and the red “download here” on the right of it works. -

After I used Explorer I found it, I tried once again using Firefox, still no joy. Then updated the page page with F5 and it showed up… Wired! But now it works fine? Must be a Firefox update thing I guess…

The F-16DM-40 model is ready. The model has five standard blue skin sets. The model sets are in this order: 35th FS WP, 80th FS WP, 36th FS OS, 510th AV and 555th FS AV. Since there only 1 or 2 D models per squadron in reality I have given the #3 & #4 tails a look of the sister squadron. For example; set 1 a 35th squadron for tail #1 & #2 and #3 and #4 has the 80th squadron tail. This is reversed for the second set. The Aviano based squadrons use this same principle. The package can be downloaded via my website; janhas dot net.
I also fixed a WSO G-suit hose issue for the F-16DM-52 and F-16I (&CFT) models as well. The F-16DM-52 JHMCS wire issue was fixed. The connection between the pilot and instrument panel was missing.
Here are some screenshots of the F-16DM-40…
DM-40 done… what’s next…? You can probably guess it… -

I have been hammering a new F-35 stick, throttle and helmet (gen 3) together. During the week I will work on the next LV3 model (F-16BM MLU) and in the weekend on the F-35A. Next thing to build for the F-35A is a better ejection seat. I have re-used the F-16 pilot model so head/body movement will be the same. The face will be license plated as well.
