Hello to all, HUGE congrats on the dev Team you guys R O C K !! Just a question (sorry if it’s already been covered and i missed the post)
Is it possible for YAME to extract gauges in Android/Windows tablet ? If yes, how can i configure Win10 to do this?
Thx in advanceI have a win10 tablet and yame runs fine. I use it mainly for center pedestal or engine gauges.

can you send me your yame64.xml (for server and client) round in conf folder?

is this statement from the manual still valid or is it changed a bit in the latest version?
Note: when you do not use the “Launch Falcon BMS” button to start BMS but start it via another way, and
you want to use the 3DHook extractions, you’ll need to manually copy two files into the correct location.
Browse to the /conf/ subfolder of the YAME installation folder and copy both d3d9.dll & yame_d3d.cfg to
your BMS folder into /Bin/x64Asking because there is no longer a yame_d3d.cfg file to copy/paste or my eyes are worse than I thought.

no need for yame_d3d.cfg anymore. just copy the dll

I’m searching for some photoreal images for F18 gauges so we can integrate in next version o YAME. If someone has such image (taken frontal) and wish to give he can write to me. Thanks and happy holydays!

Just downloaded YAME to export my MFDs, very cool program!
However, I’m having a problem with frequent crashes… I can get YAME running after a fresh reboot, but it will often crash on BMS exit and will then crash immediately on startup until I reboot again. Crash on BMS exit points to ucrtbase.dll and subsequent crashes on startup point to vcruntime140.dll.
I checked/repaired/reinstalled the C++ 2015 runtime but the problems persist. I’m on Win7 Pro.
Any suggestions?

A clean install of BMS seems to have cleared up the problem. Good to go for now.

Some advice on server installation please?
I have used YAME64 on my main PC using Yame client, it works really well but seems to slow down when recording.
To try and overcome the above slow downs i am considering using my network to run YAME but am a little unsure as to what goes where.
I have two computers on my network configured as follows:
Main PC i7 that runs BMS with three additional monitors, two for the MFD’s and the third to display Mach, Alt, ADI, VVI, AOA, HSI and engine gauges
Secondary PC i5 with nothing on itI’m a little confused as to where the client and server are to be installed. In my mind the server would be on the secondary pc but this seems to be at odds with the manual:
“In case of networked extraction, run the server on the same PC that runs BMS. Then run the YAME client on the remote machine where you want to display the extracted information”
I want to display the extracted information on my main pc’s additional monitors, my secondary pc is elsewhere in the house.
I’m obviously missing something?

Thanks FD, I’ll need to keep using the client only as it is not possible for me to, either run cables from the secondary pc or to have it next to the main pc….

Youcan do it via LAN or wifi, no need to manually link both pc’s. As long as the client one can reach the server over internal (or less performant external) ip, you’re good to go.
We even did instructor/trainee setup with me as trainee in Belgium as server and the instructor in Poland with client connected to my public ip. -

If both are wired to the router, you can use the internal IP and follow the manual. It’s the sm as mentioned on section 10 (F-16B: trainee - instructor setup) but then use local IP instead of external IP.
In short:

start YAME64 on BMS pc.

go to the server tab and note the local IP address & listening port
-
set or unset use direct3D to your own liking.

set key server if you want to send keystrokes (touchscreen input) from client to server

hit apply

go to the run tab, click on “start server”

start YAME on slave pc.

go to the client tab
-
set radio button “get data from network”

enter the local IP address and port you noted on the server tab on the BMS pc earlier.

go to the run tab, click on “start client”

PS: make sure your router has port forwarding for the noted listening port and any firewalls on router or pc’s allow in/out going traffic on that port and for that exe.

Any workable POH map for yame64?
The WDP one does not work for me reducing size. -
- start YAME on slave pc.

- go to the run tab, click on “start client”
okay, curiosity got the better of me and I had a go at setting up.
On the slave pc I have installed YAME64 however, when i try to run YAME64 on the slave pc I get a message “unable to create configuration file” I have installed the VSC++ redistributable on both machines.
I’m now thinking I need BMS on both machines?
