Plural seems sort of unnecessary, doesn’t it?

Well, when it began, 38 MiG’s were headed our way, so it was a great hunting party… :lol:

@Switch:
How about that for a sneak peek ?

Remade that deckhouse from scratch, all rigging stuff (guardrail, ladders, safety net) and made the missing radars.
That screenshot is not latest though, but that OpenGLLOD video is
WOW how many tris is that?

Looks like the MiG got his buddies to return the favour…

80000+ but half of that is the rigging. Building guardrail with a single element (box extrude loop copy bridge) is costly in triangles but way less in drawcalls… anyway, they will be removed for second LODs at like 1000-1500 ft and you won’t be that close of them most of the time. And if you are, there won’t be much else around so…

Yeah ship models are tend to be “heavy” if you want to be detailed, i somewhere have an Fletcher class destroyer (not my build but downloaded in those free 3d sites) witch is around 700k tris but it is freaking detailed.

length 6.86m, diameter 0.36m, and wingspan 1.2m.Hello,
Thank you for your report.
For PL-12, it’s not because it’s not often carried like that that it is impossible… I have to find again, but I had references on this topic… If I did it, it was referenced. But I’ll check again.
For YJ-83K, You are right, there is indeed a scaling issue. I just checked my source file, I wonder what happened… I even remember this 360mm diameter… I’ll correct it ASAP!
Thank you again for your report,
Radium

and another problem is the PL-12 position .It is positioned too back, so the control surfaces is unable to move freely
