RED is the Naval InfantryUnit…(BTR 80’s),BLUE is the USMC Unit (AAV7blah,blah),trick was in the tile’s and Obj. Link’s I think…hehehehe.Can’t remember ATM…HAHAHAA…BUT as soon as I vet it, we’ll all know.

'kay this is how I done it in BMS.
Made some new tile’s with Path’s,New Objective (Beach) and link’s:Then opened BMS TE Builder and then me placed me Unit’s.Saved that TE and opened it with TacEdit and moved the Unit’s onto the said tile’s.GAVE them an Aobj. to Capture\Defend.etc…They are Ordered and Parent.
Then…WahLa…they do what they are suppose to…at least in TE…
If it’s easier to do now (in BMS),please let me know…Dave

alright you win… it looks great.
now we’re looking forward to a working campaign.BTW… i remember i’ve done a test and posted on PMC-Kurile or Campaign section. i created a fake sea route with farm tile+sea texture+path data, connecting Japan Hokkido and Russia Kurile… GUs can move to and fro between the two islands. For a working- and hot fighting island campaign, i’d suggest you using this trick, connecting main Haiwaii islands, let Blue and Red GUs can move freely from one end to the other.
the scenerios, apart from US exercise, you may create ficitonal US-Russia, US-China, and US-Japan cam. -
sorry the test is in this thread…http://tactical.nekromantix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=21770&start=40- i pick Kurile theater, use TerranView, i pave a new road with plain-road tiles, linking south end of CIS Kurile island and NW end of CIS-occupied Hokkaido land. i run THR creator to generate a new THR.- i use TacEdit to open save0.cam, load NEW THR, yes it shows a NEW road connecting the two islands. i create new OBJ link, move obj to align along the road and get LOW move cost. i move some CIS GUs to this sea-road for test.- in 2D map, run at 64x time compression. yes, GUS moving along the new sea-road back to Kurile. it proves this new road work and can move at high speed.http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n192 … 6/wwww.jpghttp://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n192 … 1fwdsf.jpgBTW there’s an objective CT called Beachhead in DB… it seems unfinished - and probably like DPRK hardened shelter/tunnel entrance along DMZ…bluky GUs can “show up” there as reinforcement… BMS coders may check it…someday.

I DID use the Beach obj though, in the POC test, and it seemed to work in BMSdemer

Demer, wll you add shipping into pearl harbor? Freight and combat vessels, even if not directly involved the campaign, would really spruce up therrain.

Very early,just got the Dem2Terrain MAP to my liking.Then started tiling with Stock Korea Tile’s\Mod’s and wasn’t happy.Soooo Hand Tiling with PR Tile’s,not a problem,very little land mass.Maybe 3-4 Falcon week’sI think we can do that though,as Dew_Dog has done it in the past.Not sure if they go anywhere,but they at least show up in their correct position’s on the dock’s.(Yes,I know Dave,NOBODY Listened,I did….Thank you)

you’ll need new harbour obj CT, more parking slots for US ships…i’ve been there, carriers, CGs, and many frigates.Also get 611-eagle build a 3d Arizona memorial hall!
and, i suggest you use existing airbase obj/model for the time being, don’t mod those nice SAT tiles… someday modellers may build a right airbase to fit the tiles.

Thank’s,but it is early in the dev. process,as you well know.
Don’t think we need new Port\Harbour obj’s in BMS and I’ll explain why.While “Hacking” at the AB’s obj’s in the BMS EDITOR, I found it much easier to change the DATA,than in LODEditor.
I could see an objective and goto: select all, than rotate\move the entire thing(including Feature\Point and PointHeaderData) to fit the Theater\Tile
Pretty Cool IMHO……Also,when you Save the *file’s,it back’s up the Original’s…HAHAHA.Good for us “Old Guy’s”!!!
Whoop’s I Feck’d up again…Oh??? Now I just put back in the Back-Up’s,so I can Feck’ it up again…HEHE.
(Kid’s don’t try this at home,please…you’ll just pork your install :()I have NO intention of changing the PR tile’s to fit the DB ATM,I will remove the flat ship’s as you wish.
