Weapon Delivery Planner released
-
Well as a Dev team memeber I am not waiting on a new release of BMS
WDP has been on a very low priority. This because I have my hands full on CET development as well as MC. (And a lot more tools for that matter)Gr Falcas
Many thanks Falcas

Whenever I try and use Weapon Delivery Planner to generate weather briefs I get completely incorrect and very wonky reports.
I get this message indicating it is reading the correct FMAP and that it loaded successfully:
Then it will give a weather report like this:
For the record, it doesn’t matter what FMAP I try and load - they all result in this error. Even the FMAPs that ship with BMS cannot be read.
Some assistance would be great! I might be doing something wrong.
+1

Hi all,
I am using WDP 3.7.8 Build 101 and I am unable to see the threat circles that are visible on the map. They don’t appear on the HSD and I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or missing a step somewhere.
I am flying in the Balkans Under Siege campaign.
Thanks!

Correct, no installer.
To get a good link it helps to refresh the page.

If you unpacked the zip you are done.
No more installer.Gr Falcas

Perhaps stupid question but is Apr 19 version of WDP designed to work with 4.34?
-
For me it does work and it seems to be updated for 4.34, there are new IFF Pages and so on.

Falcas,
Thank you very much. I found a reason. There was a data loss in place when I unzip the file. I unzip the file with 7-zip. I can unzip the whole file. It works well.

I guess we still need that 3D party kneeboard maker to get the wdp kneeboards into BMS?

If you want you can also use earlier versions of WDP, they also work with 4.34.
But better to use the latest.Gr Falcas

Kneeboard saving directly into BMS has been a WDP feature for a long time already.
No need for other tools.Gr Falcas

Falcas, any idea why my WDP defaults to 4.32 (which I still have installed) every single time I launch it?
What happens is, if I change the BMS version in WDP, close it, and check Setup.ini, everything is set for 4.34. During launch, it will launch for 4.34 for about 5 seconds, and then give errors about not finding certain files (presumably, that’s the point at which it switches to 4.32). After clicking those errors away, the software loads in 4.32 database.

That feature WDP seem to have an unhandles exception:

Lastest version, + 4.34.
2 things. No, 3.
1. Thank you Falcas, almost forgot, go figure.
2. Tried updated kneeboard twice in two contexts (Tiger Spirit), got 2 similar, long error messages (in French, Windows)
3. Lines seem to be handled differently in UI and WDP. I draw 2 tanker lines in WDP, I get the possibility to add more point to line 2 in UI, and I have a link between tanker 1 and tanker 2’s patterns on the map.Remaining at your disposal.
EDIT: works like Line 1 was one more point than it should in UI, so rejoins Line2’s pattern
EDIT2: ok, going deeper, UI adds line that WDP shows, but not the UI itself. Lines that can wildly go to the upper left corner.
