Very happy DJ! I think that the various responses are clear. But it will take some time to learn all new features, update sops, get acquainted with the new ATC personnel and to develop some new tactics (did anybody say weasel?)

+1 diver; unbelievable stuff all the good suggestions that were made in the past are here. And ATC what can I say, after some time working on voice attack profiles the immersion is fantastic. Just landed a four ship AI in overhead break pattern and it just… works. didn’t start on the the tactical aspect yet and I don’t even like non-tactical flight sims

Canopy locking right after closing. In the past it was just closing.
Ir missiles miss when flares used effectively from AI.
Sounds in pit sound more plural and give a better feeling-experience.

Funny to note that, 95% of new features do not comes from the “iff you could have one thing in the next update it would be.” thread but were WIP way before the opening of that thread … Most of things has been proposed on dev side much earlier (some before initial 4.32 release) which is IMO, a good thing. …
Now I hope that you understand why we have to ask you guys about 3-4weeks of faithful patience.

WTF 4 pages and no one mentioned my IFF ?!
I really see now ppl slowly find it interesting, wait a bit to start implementing tactical thinking and usage of these 3 capital letters…

After a couple of hours this is an amazing version.
I noted the plane different more smooth and “dynamic” both in air and ground, in ground pitch more and need a little thrust to start moving and keep it rolling.
Regarding air refueling the IA takes more time to refuel and is more smooth during precontact and when finish to take fuel. Now there is a sound when the tanker connect the boom into the airplane, the bingo page not refresh the fuel so quickly as before.
The new visor let see the HUD in poor light conditions. (this was very necessary).
The datalink now erase the symbols of the flight after a while in CONT mode. now this work like that??
The new ATC and AWACS raise this to a new level along with the IFF.
The manuals are awesome like always, the best I’ve ever seen in a simulator.

It retrieves some information from the other aircraft and then extrapolates its position for the next 8 seconds.
Must go through each of the seven aircraft one by one which takes some time.
After 8 seconds, that AC is gone until the next update which can be several seconds later.
I assume it’s more realistic… (?) In that case, good. More difficult. -

Yep.
But remember to switch it off at “Switch Off line”. IFF modes replying overs hostile territory may not be te best idea.

Yeah IDM position is far less instant. Even on continuous marks time out before the next round. Maybe the timeout time is too short (you’d think it’d be at least as long as the round time). I wonder if all human players switch intraflight IDM to VHF if it will work over VHF, AI keeps to UHF tactical freq always.
I notice campaign IFF plan switches off IFF M1 M2 for you and back on based on steerpoint. You still have M4 the whole time which might still be an EMCON liability.

Ok, awesome work on maverick target acquisition without TGP boresight - first run 4/4 in the really bad weather in training TE - 2x D & 2x G. Huge (unless nothing’s changed from .33 that would be funny DOH :behindsofa:)

I notice campaign IFF plan switches off IFF M1 M2 for you and back on based on steerpoint. You still have M4 the whole time which might still be an EMCON liability.
You can change that behaviour in the .iff file that comes with your TE or campaign files. Instead of having something like ProfileMissionX=1108, just change it to 1100, and you’ll get no Mode 4 active after the push point.
But in real life if the transponder doesn’t receive the right “question”, it gives no answer, so is not supposed to emit. -
Fog of War used to be an experimental feature.
It’s now on by default. -

It seems to me weather has effect on IR seeker. I was not able to lock with AIM-9X in head on from 0,3 nm in clouds even the radar tracked the target.
IR missiles are much more sensitive to flares.Totally new battalion configurations.
