I’cant really compare with my 4.33 memories but my wingman passed few feets away in front of my nose and I had hard times controlling the aircraft. -

Hi Crusader-So Bad, I am having the same crash when I edit any of the Acdata files like Air to Air ALT and speed or Chaff and Flare amount, Can’t seem to find out why. Ed
EDIT: Just edited the Acedit file with Notepad++ I was using Notepad worked for now Ed

Ground units with unchecked “set by HQ”, are marked now with a white square surrounding its symbol, is a nice feature and helps to manage ground units operations.- Better should had been to implement a mechanism to uncheck all units or all of the same type

Satisfying sound when the refueling boom goes into the receptacle

I noticed something has changed in how the throttle feels, it’s more “soft” when adjusting power , it’s easier to AAR and formation flying.
I know nothing has changed in FLCS and FM but that’s it… maybe more FPS? Who knows…Speaking of AAR , I noticed the tanker does not say “tanker entering turn” when player is connected to the boom. When not connected and when AI is connected the message is heard.
Do anyone has the same problem?Need to be on Tanker’s freq.**

I wouldnt been able to even refuel without the tanker freq.
It happened to me in the AAR training , with the tanker assigned to the Block 40 flight.I’ll make further tests , If that happened only to me maybe I missed something.

All I can tell, there might be a “bigger” problem with tanker announcing turns, like message arriving exactly when the tanker starts turning. I think it’s being processed.

apologies if has been covered but still reading through 28 pages.
Has refuelling rate been lowered? Seems like AAR on the heavy F-16 takes longer for me and wingman, not like before. But I’ve not played for a long time so maybe I remember wrong?

Or jets start with lower fuel? Seems like me and wingman are on the boom for longer. I remember when wingman goes on boom and is finished quick, I think to myself “showoff!” but now, wingman is on boom for longer than I recall.

Any changes to aerodynamic drag? Done some DEAD with HARM targeting pod, SNIPER pod, 4xCBU-52 (and naturally, 2x370gal tanks, 2xAIM-120B/C, 2xAIM-9M). After all the CBUs have been dropped, it feels as if the aircraft has more drag than in 4.33 with the same configuration.
It’s a vague sense of bleeding more energy. Of course there are many obvious possible explanations for why it would be “user error” here
