YAME64 suite

This pic shows the tv stand setup a little better. I’m also using the 27" touchscreen and not the 23" I’m using now. One problem with this setup is rudder placement. The rudders will only go so far back before they hit the legs of the stand limiting how close you can get to the TV. Also, you end up having to put the TrackIR on the touchscreen which blocks parts of your view. Even backed away and putting the TrackIR on the TV is problematic. Unless you were the bill of your hat really high you won’t get full motion up and down.

… its silky smooth at 120hz. I haven’t tried 144hz again yet but I will tomorrow. I know the card and monitor can handle it so I think BMS has an issue with it.
I use a 144Hz monitor, and it’s very hard to go back to anything lower for just regular desktop use. Spent some time with at my father’s house and was missing it hardcore. Got a chance to try out a few projectors with BMS, but couldn’t wait to get home to my 144Hz gaming monitor.
Just a note, HDMI cables can’t do 144Hz, so it’s Display Port cable or USB-C for that, for those following along. Best wishes and good luck to you!! Thanks for the pics!

It’s running 144hz now like a champ.

Trying to get the YAME64 Kneeboard gauge to work. I can point to the 8019.dds file in YAME64 and display it in another YAME window without issue but it seems that the YAME Callback Kneeboard_Change does nothing for me. The doc says its suppose to switch between one of two data cards within the 8019.dds file.
Has anyone else got this to work?

I don’t know about the stealing focus issue, it’s running on another computer on another monitor. I though that was the issue. If everyone deals with this and it’s known issue, shouldn’t it be near the top of the list for upcoming patches/updates? I’m late to the party, just now starting to get into YAME64, any explanation would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
Hi,
I have the same issue like yours. I run BMS and YAME64 server on my PC, and run YEME64 client on my laptop (Thinkpad T480s, with a touch screen). All of the buttons on the laptop must be touch twice before they effect, including UFC, MFDs, etc.
But when I run the YAME64 client on another PC which is connected with an iPad mini as a monitor (via an app named DUET), I can touch these buttons correctly (by one touch). So I guess this issue may be caused by our laptop’s touch screen driver. They are all made by Lenovo.
I’ll buy another touch screen to continue testing about it. -

Are YAME Callbacks coupled to actual Callbacks in BMS? Reason I am asking is because Yame does not recognize all of my input devices, (I have 7 Bodnar Boards working, but Yame only ‘sees’ 4 of them… I onlu use the Map of the CP60 and would like to couple zoom in/out and NUP to some analogue switches in my simpit.

Some tweaks is a bit of an overstatement IMHO
You need 4.33 and can’t use 3Dhook, that’s all. So doesn’t need tweaks, it has a prerequisite (have older BMS installed) and one non working function (3D hook, but regular with RTT works fine, same logic MFDE uses). -
Yes the current version work fine as soon you have a version 4.33 somewhere (even on a different hard drive).

Still need help with YAME, it opens a white screen whenever I try to run it …
Is it something with JAVA script or C++redist ???

Hi …
YAME was working very fine for BMS, but one of a sudden I have this screen when trying to start it …
And I just can’t run it anymoreSolved:
Right-click over YAME icon on the desktop, “Run with graphic processor” a list will slide out of the main list, choose the default option and it’s now working perfectly -
I haven’t been using Yame64 with my 4.34 install because when I start Yame as a client with Masked Background it causes lag in the Windows UI, but if I don’t use a masked background there Windows UI behaves normally. This occurs even before I try starting BMS. Possibly its a VCRUNTIME issue but I am just wondering how do I go about troubleshooting this issue?

The masking of window is removed from the next update as there is an issue with windows as you said. Please just don’t use it.
