Will a AI chopper be able to use a carrier as a base (takeoff / land) in future?
(it may already work today, haven’t checked).
the z axis in Falcon Editor addition rings a bell?

And will be able to use dispensers? (With current IR seeker values this not a factor but against older missiles would be.)

Beauty as always!

Awesome work Radium. Thanks to you we have some.oretty awesome models. Thank you for your hard work and passion.

As always very nice.
Being a longtime chopper sim fan and a keen user of the BlackShark in DCS this is THE Rotary I would love to see get a flight model in BMS.
Its doable as there need be no radar.

Hello, thank you for your comment.
However :
In 2013 I asked for a improved FM for the SU-27/30 family, and no one responded. I’ll do this one again if needed. I could try.
What is the purpose of this ?
Mav-Jp already offered you an AFMized Su-33 flight model with the first ever non-scripted Pugatchev’s cobra capability ever, and very nice flight dynamics… You need some more ?

What do you mean by “Mav-Jp already offered you an AFMized Su-33 flight model” Did not happen in 2011/12.
And “first ever non-scripted” means what ? please explain.
PS: You may be reading more into my initial comments then I actually meant to say !

Hi, I suppose, what I say is clean enough…
Anyway,

Well, of course they made Kamovs flying in Syria… there is a huge lot of tasks they can accomplish, also in an urban war scenario, I mean.
Who knows if in the new ITO theater, I’m wondering hhmmm…
With best regards.

Anyway,
OK , So how much of Falcon is “Scripted”
Are you talking Gear deployments, air foil rotations & deflections. Weapon release ? AI flight manoeuvres ?
What part of Falcon is Scripted ?

I’m sorry, I’m not interested to start a debate topic about something that is not Ka-52 related.
Btw, your videos are really interesting Toro !
btw :
Very old video, but this was the one that made me love this beautiful bird !
I’m looking now about Kh-35 capability on Ka-52… I’m not sure what is really possible

I noticed an incorrect detail in the current model. It’s most visible in the second picture, the blades on the upper rotor are oriented the wrong way. In a real Ka-50 (and Ka-52 probably too), the lower rotor turns counterclockwise, and the upper turns clockwise. You have them both oriented to rotate counterclockwise. The airfoils should, therefore, be oriented the opposite way.
-
Good catch!
However … I am not sure we can do this in BMS (?).

In fact, rotors were still temporary (I just copied pasted at that time). Final ones were supposed to be done.
Here is the final result.
For Dee-Jay :
This was an old version, but as you see it works nicely.
Cheers,

This could need a nice code for starting up and shutting down the rotor smoothly

All new helos models have two switch states for the rotor.

I am talking about Dof management , at the moment there is no startup sequence
