YAME64 suite

since you are using a pre-release beta, it can not be fixed, except by the author, AFAIK.
Thankyou Badger. Anyway is this something known? Do you all guys experienced the same issue I have?

Hi
I can’t start Yame64 64-bit on my desktop PC (on laptop works). When I start app I have blank Yame64 window for few seconds and crash. I checked in Computer Management and have error with VCRUNTIME140.dll, when reinstalled library I have new error with ucrtbase.dll
I have BMS 4.33 & 4.34. -
Hi
I usually fly BMS with YAME 64 showing the instruments, MFD, etc in a second monitor (I love it!!) but sometimes it suddenly stops working
Not a big issue, I can keep flying the mission because it does not stop the main BMS screen, but I lose all the dials, MFD, etc in the second screen
Any ideas?
Best regards -

Best regardsI don’t know if I can help you Caldero, YAME runs fine on my system. But I am curious, is your second monitor on a second networked PC?
-
Hi
Negative, both monitors are connected to the same PC
Best regards -
Ehm, beta testers report to author usually? because a lot of peeps are faithfully waiting

Hi,
I’m trying to use YAME over network.
Everything works… except for very poor performance : it’s impossible to get smooth MFD or CPD instruments !I’m not asking for a solution which would be as good as if it was local, but it’s simply not usable now in combat.
Anybody else has this issue ?

Wifi or 1Gbit cable connection?

Hi guys.
I am new to yame and i have issues with it and bms 4.34.
I followed the how-to on the site and i made also the registry modification indicated there.
The configuration in both 4.33 and 4.34 cfg for rtt extraction is to 1 (was there by default anyway ).
I tried different yame profiles and weepops helios+yame profile. All with the same results.
With 4.33 (unsurprisingly) yame works well.
With 4.34 it is able to extract some data (fuel flow, altimeter, altitude indicator etc all works) but it is not able to export any display, mfds rwr, ded etc etc.
Here i attach some screenshot to show this.
You can see the flight instruments animated but no displays as I described.
Can someone help me resolving this?
Thanks -
Hi guys.
Iis not able to export any display, mfds rwr, ded etc etc.I noticed yesterday that I had the same issue with MFD and DED extraction. Mine was working just fine up until lastnight. So possibly there is something else going on, maybe Windows related. I have to investigate the problem today. I’ll report back when I find something out, unless someone else finds it first.

Thanks i am literally losing my mind following this issue.
I am a noob of yame so I thought it was my fault.
Probably it is, but i am strart thinking that could be something else -
I just tested my installation again and I had no problem with BMS exports.
Are you using 3dhook in Yame? If so then that is the issue.

Wheelchocks as I stated in my first post I followed the instructions on the website to the letter.
So i have the checkbox on 3dhook disabled in yame and the rtt to 1 in the cfg file.
In the x64 directory in falcon there is no 3dhook file also.Do you know if somewhere else 3dhook could have been enabled by its own?
Or some other falcon cfg value to change or to check?
As i am new to second screen and display/instruments extraction there could be something that is evident for experienced people and not for me -
You seem to be doing all the correct steps. I’ve read that people with similar issues uninstalled YAME and reinstalled and the issue went away. There’s also a YAME client log file under the globals tab. Have you checked there for any errors? You are just running the client only right? No server-client setup? In BMS config do you have export displays set? I have that set in mine, not sure if it effects it though tbh.

Hi thanks again.
I tried enabling the export in falcon bms config but didn’t change anything. So i disabled back.
Yes only client config as adviced in the manual
About the log here is what I have:The strangest part for me is that data extraction works (as I wrote before) but no display extraction.
Also for curiosity i tried the rtt extraction tool (the one in tool folder in falcon) and it worked immediately.
i think the way of working of the programs should be similar -
super long shot but, IIRC, I had similar issue, long ago, and I changed RTT to 0, started YAME and it didn’t like it, changed back to 1 and things started to work. ….

Thanks that’s a pretty interesting thing I should try
