FPS SIM REN?

Spec is clearly not the problem
however set up can be.
Just to be clear , i just made a brand new PC
i9 10850K
32 Go Corsair @ 3600 Mhz
GFX 1080 ti.Believe me or not, i can run Half Life Halyx in VR full rez with a cosmos elite without issue, but i have GFX problem in BMS.
After some deep investigating with OCCT, i ran burn tests of everything , from CPU to RAM to GPU to VRAM to POWER etc etc…
It happened that my 1081Ti is generating some errors.
I had to downclock from -100 Mhz my GPU and push the PowerLimit to 100% in order to reach a ZERO error in OCCT GPU 1 hour test.
At then End: no more issue in BMS .
I am not saying this is your case, but in my case i had more problems in BMS due to GPU “instability” than in Half Life VR !! ???
I see that you 3080 is oc, do you pass sucessfully all GPU / VRAM tests of OCCT and kombustor ?
i just tryed this and nope, there always stutters
i try at default and at -100 clock nothing change -
Try in game AA to a lower value.
Try to switch Anti-aliasing Transparency from X8 to a lower values, try Multi-sample.On my side, that was the issue.
i have already AA on 1 in game
and from control panel Anti-aliasing transparency on OFF, i just tried Multi, but nothing changedare very MICRO stutters, not so great issue, but never on falcon 4.34

have you done a clean install of your drivers? or you just do the quick update?

Oh hi you’re back.

Always clean with ddu, but before installing 4.35
You think i should repeat after installation?I try to reinstall and inform you later

Sorry no, i have to study before or it is very simple to use?

@Arty
just installed new version of the latest driver, with clean installation and ddu tool
version 461.09nothing changed
ty again for support

I will try mainwhilego to youtube.
In the search bar type in OCCT.
press the lens search button. -
go to youtube.
In the search bar type in OCCT.
press the lens search button.i did it but i only see guide on older version of occt,
the last version seems to not have a section where you can select the GPU or CPU testthe search still continue
let you know further, but however i have already done a lot of test (unigive superposition heaven etc) never a problemalso other guys in this 3d and in others have strutter problem, probably is the game itself to be optimized
however i will continue to test, but mostly i will wait for update of the game, it is not a stopping issue this

Hi everyone, just a few updates
I have seen serious improvements by setting in trackir program the
“Video processing mode” from precision to standardHowever, the problem is absolutely related to the trackir, and I’m still doing research to find the best possible setting
Does anyone have any information on this? Did you find any difference between the two modes (standard/precision)?Now it’s time to get back in the air and enjoy this amazing game.

I’m seeing some stutter with 4.35 also. Tried all nvidia settings and game settings can’t fix it. All other games running perfectly on my gaming PC, and I have a lot of them. Hopefully it will be fixed in update…
maybe trying lowering grass and density might help. works for me atleast

slight stutter or jolt when close to the ground , also when vsync is enabled a still get a weird tearing type thing on the screen, now i know that its 99% my hardware or my lack of knowledge when it comes to anything cpu related.
…how do i read the current FPS, SIM, REN details to see where a bottleneck may be . Currently with the settings i am trying my fps is 60 my refresh of screen vsync…sim is 70-80 day one first flight kto CAMPAIGN …render is 70- 110 not really sure what im looking at?I just wrote a long update to a different thread about triple-buffering … TL/DR tho, on my newer PC which is not so CPU constrained, it really helped eliminate the microstutter/flicker I was seeing.
Ymmv of course but if your CPU and GPU are both doing better than 60fps, give triple-buffering a try. (Turn off v-sync, in game and in graphics control panel. The TB should prevent tearing.)

Since
1st line - Total FPS
2nd line - Simulation FPS - In large you may think of it as your CPU FPS
3rd line - Renderer FPS - GPU FPSWhat does it mean if line 2 and 3 are considerably higher than line one. Line 2 is usually highest number?
