That looks very good!

I love your picture with the four altimeters. The detail on the CRT screens as well as the glareshiled cover is amazing. I hate to say it Pepe but your project turned out so well, there is nothing to criticize:D
-
nice!!!
-
That’s one wonderful work - keep it coming!
-
Uh, very hires stuff. :headb:
I hope it won’t be its fate as many “3D project”. So many 3D models have been shown in the latest decade, but most of them never was applied or integraded.

I’ll wear my raybans while killing those MIG’s looking like F-5’s!
-
Great work so far, keep it up and thank you for starting this project! The Tomcat is one of my favorite warbirds.

-
I need it!

Thanks for all your comments guys!! But no pictures!!
Ok maybe no pictures but some information on instruments on the F-14? Im a bit stuck with the 3d modelling, the geometry of the canopy is just hell so I´ve been working on a few more instruments to get my head off the modelling. This is what I think the instruments look like from the pictures but if anybody has further information that would be great!
Thanks again!

is this a real thing for mykinge yourself or is it a virtual cockpit for everyone?

While I have never worked on an F-14, those guages look correct for aircraft of that era that I worked on. I am pretty sure, the same subcontractor that made th F-14 instruments for Grumman aircraft also produced identical instruments for Boeing Commercial Aircraft Division in the 1970s. The 727-100/200 and 737-200 aircraft had those exact same guages installed in their panels.

Thanks Chuckles! I realised a few days ago that the altimeter has no display for the atmospheric pressure setting (don’t know how that is properlly called), I’m doing. Some work now on the Heading Bearing indicator and the ADI! I’m having quite a lot of fun at the moment doing research to get it as real as possible, cading it up and editing in illustrator (fonts….).
I think I have a plan of action for the canopy 3d modelling and I just found an incredible book with loads of detailed pictures of the cockpit so happy times!!! Research takes for ever!!
Any way, happy flying!
