Hi Falcas. I was on training mission 21 last night. Arrival base Taegu. I noticed that the runway on the WDP datacard does match the mission. It showed as 14 rather than 31L. It looks like the base has been turned into a dual runway. Is the WDP database out of date and if so, do you need some help to update your database?

Falcas, neither version 163 nor new version 164 do not seem to be working fine on Kurile and Kuwait theaters at least. A error message pops up saying "Could not read Unit data - Your mission might be corrupted " what does that mean?
-
In my haste to use this in 4.35U1, I overwrote the default kneeboard checklists…any way to recover besides reinstall?
EDIT: Was able to hotrod them back to normal by using the converted png checklists from the docs from this post, thanks oakdesign.

Falcas (or anyone who knows), is WDP doing active fuel calculations for the mission in a campaign?
Wondering because up until now, I have been using the rough calculations in Falcon4 Fuel calc to figure out how much fuel / what my BINGO should be set at.
I notice that FUEL and TO Fuel are set when I load the package (from my Rolling Fire campaign), but if I update the loadout/change fuel, save, and reload the mission in WDP, the fuel numbers stay at their default (maxfuel - taxi fuel). Also if i use the “Performance” tab in WDP, it does not update based on the loadout, despite the fact that I can see it has my updated Fuel amount from my saved modifications from BMS within WDP.
WDP does not take into account new block fuel numbers, so it also gives improper rotation and climb speed calculations on the kneeboard data. Just wondering if that is intended and whether a future feature enhancement could be in the cards.
Thanks Falcas!

Good Day, Chiro,
In WDP, I’ve noticed that neither Taiwan or VietNam are in the dropdown list in the upper left corner. I tried to use the Taiwan default .idx file, and the .wch, but WDP gave me an exception warning.
WDP will update kneeboards and such, but the map shows Korea. -

WDP will update kneeboards and such, but the map shows Korea. You need to add those theaters manually by adding them to the theaters xml file and adding 2 theater map files coloured and white . Detailed instructions are for sure somewhere in this thread

Thx, Oak,
I found the xml file in the WDP folder, but what data do you put in? It seems more then just the one liner for theater.lst, for example. -
Fair question, this yours.
It has been the same for me some time ago. Please see your PM soon, then.
With best regards.

Hi, Jackal, I got the pm. Thx. Can anyone provide the data for the Taiwan and Viet Nam theaters?
-
Fine, drtbkj - hhmm, I seem to recall I have seen something about not a long time ago in some place of these Forums.
Let me ask something someone, then we’ll talk again…
With best regards.

Your callsign.ini is not correct.
Delete it and you will be fine with the one that will be automatically generated.gr Falcas

I tried that and it gave the same error. What I did do though was to copy the only surviving backup I have (thank heavens for keeping 4.34) into 4.35 and it worked.
Could there be a new format/method the latest version is using?

Latest Balkans theater, WDP immediately threw an exception, now it won’t work with ANY theater…
EDIT: As WDP was giving exceptions to ALL my theaters and uninstalling/reinstalling WDP did nothing I saved my important BMS files and removed 4.35.1. Did a clean install, put my player.ini/phonebook/logbook back in place and started a Korea Campaign, saved it. Fresh WDP and all went fine. Installed the latest Balkans and WDP dropped another exception as soon as I tried to use it on the Balkans campaign… Installed Kuwait 64 theater and WDP worked, but it has issues with it also (new thread about that)…

Some strange happenings in WDP in Kuwait64 Theater…
BMS running in 2D, Kuwait 64 theater, WDP start up showing Korea
Select Kuwait 64 in WDP, says it can’t find kuwait64.idx (and .wch), but they are there… push forward and map loads
Load the mission file, get more errors and map name switches back to Korea, but mission loads and shows Kuwait map
More oddities… now it’s looking for Korea.idx?
What am I doing wrong??

Hi
I found i can’t upgrade knee board with WDP in the Korea TVT
I found this problem when we were participating Official TVT round 4.
Do i miss some files? or something wrong with my setting?
Upgrading knee board with WDP in the KTO is Okay.
Thanks!
