Even so other theater our community flew a 80’s ITO campaign with AIM-7 and AIM-9 only. So the usual tactics we employed was AIM-7 shots from leading element while notching going the second element immediately Banzai with heaters on the target

Will 2x TMSUp secure lock on the target? and as for the HUD symbiology goes will the chances of killing increase if target range cue gets inside DLZ? I know AIM120 has replaced AIM7 now and because there is little literature about AIM7 mode of operation for obvious reasons that makes firing AIM7 and hitting targets quite hard (for me!)
Any help ?

you still loose lock with STT.

Has anyone ever completed a sp campaign here ?
Looking to start a new campaign shortly.
Looking to start one that can be finished.
Thanks -
Just won my Iran-Iraq scenario recently. 6 days, they surrendered. Good DCA and BAI is the way to go I think. Don’t even bother attacking air bases, they’ll eventually run out of air power If you play it right.

I am still having an issue with the sunset. It’s like
sunrise 03:36:41z (07:36:41 LT)
sunset 14:07:18z (18:07:18 LT)
and the in game timing is the Z not the LT. How can I make the game go by the LT? which I am interpreting as local time. -
ok I see now the time and date is set to Korea and not the Gulf. Can we change that for the next update?

Theater settings “time zone and coordinates” - correspond to geography.
Also, 128 segments is a fairly large theater, for example, it is still dark over the Persian Gulf, by the Red Sea in the south of Saudi Arabia it is already dawn and light. If you want to change the characteristics of geography, then try changing the variable value: TimeZone 5 to other numbers.

Smoke from oil wells for some facilities.

\Falcon BMS 4.35\Data\Add-On Mideast128\Terrdata\weather*weather.ini*I really think it needs a correction, the west coast (red sea) and east coast (Gulf) of saudi arabia differ only by one hour. So if the sun sets in the east it should do the same in about half an hour in the west of saudi. But in no where in that region will anyone observe a sun set at 3:00 afternoon, that is just unrealistic and impossible for that region. I will try dong the editing you mention, I hope it doesn’t take the expertise of a professional programmer.

wow thanks a million, I was going to ask you for that but I forgot. These fires should be very intense and huge in numbers as the Baathi iraqi forces decimated almost all the oil fields on that land.

weather.ini only changes the local time (LT) and the amount added can be seen in the in game local time. But the local time is never enforced! when I enter the game it always runs at the zulu (UTC) time. How can we enforce the local time in the game?

All I know is 4.35 moved to zulu time to simplify all the time based coding. Technically speaking, so long as the indicated zulu time is equivalent to local time in the game (e.g, sunrise/sunset times match up) than it shouldn’t matter how they report the time. For instance, I live in the US Central timezone which is GMT - 5 hrs. So 0000z is 07:00pm central.

Most useful to learn that, dear Goro.
So, can I ask you why it has been decided to set the time zone there to 5?
From what I thought to remember about, that area time zone should have been “+3”.
But most probably I am wrong, isn’t it?With best regards.

I experimented with different time settings and I just forgot to set the time back to +3

Please don’t be sorry for anything, mate, with all you have been obliged to be accomplished… that mine was only a question, put not to criticize you.
Only glad if I happened to help you in anything. With best regards.
