YAME64 suite

I don’t know enough about Yame or how he handles Korea’s double cards.
But I’m afraid there is no possibility to use Yame’s CPD with EMF.
EMF uses a theater twice the size of Korea.CPD with EMF map fixed (map here is an internal, 8k, 136mb size .png file).

Don’t bother… get /learn Helios and Ice’s 4.35-11 Profile, integrate it with RTTClient for MFDs, and move forward. Helios and the profiles are constantly being updated/developed in the public domain now, really no need for YAME anymore though I always liked it’s simplicity. You can get support/ask questions on Discord.

Hi,
I recently upgraded my gaming rig from a Radeon to an Nvidea 3080 Ti (I know its overkill ). Till then I had no issues with Radeon and YAME, but unfortunately YAME doesn’t work with Nvidea (known issue).
I switched my complete 9 Monitor Homepit setup to MFDE (version build by oakdesign) and it works flawless. And to be honest the setup was similar easy like YAME.

@tweety And if the point is to have a fully working CPD with moving map including flightplan and working for any existing theater, one can still switch to Helios

Totally agree.
It may take a bit of more time to configure Helios than YAME64 but the results are great.
I use it together with BMS RTT export and I’m super happy with it.
Totally recommended. -

Well @Dunc will try to take it over internally but as always, no promises or dates…

Totally recommended.I used to use RTT for MFDs and Helios for everything else but they (Helios) fixed the framerate issue with the MFDs a while back, just use Helios for everything now…
-
@Icer thanks for the Tip. Wasnt aware of the MFD framerate fix.
-
@giannis_plt Helios is Nice but complicated for custom use, YAME is very easy , i fix the gauges and windows with the way i like it… i have extra screens with real mfds so i must make custom edit…

My intent is not to restart the Helios vs. YAME discussion here but does anyone know if the old workaround used for YAME still works in 4.36? That workaround required both 4.33 and 4.34 versions to be installed. I’ve been away awhile, missed 4.35, and just now installing 4.36.

I use YAME with 4.36 with the exception of the DED, MFD and RWR, those are displayed by the RTT client and put above those displays from YAME. I have no issues reading the rest of the instruments I have in my setup.
