Thks for 4.36
-
Great work all, many thanks.
-
Thanks to all the BMS team for making 4.36, nearly is a new plane considering all the changes it has. Now is our turn by studying and practicing to maximize what we have now.
-
OMFG. Now that Iāve had a little time to actually fly, Iām even more impressed.
The graphics have improved immensely (I can hardly wait to see what 4.37 brings). The FPS have improved by ~30% on my 10 year old machine, even thought the airbases and landscape are so much more detailed and the quantity of trees/grass is incredible. TFR flights are way more satsifying.
The switch between 2D and 3D is much faster than it used to be (at least 2x, for me).
The images during the 3D transition are sharper and more beautiful than ever.
The increased F-16 functionality is incredible. (I hope to have time one day to sort out all of the new lighting optionsā¦)
The distinction between LANTIRN/SNIPER capabilities (that SNIPER no longer permits TFR) is baffling, at first, but ultimately genius.
And Iāve only begun to explore. I canāt wait to see what improvements there are to the ATO PKG planning when I begin my first 4.36 campaign.
I havenāt yet figured out the changes to setting STPTs on targets, but Iāll sort it. (Iām amazed that there are no threads on this topic as yet. The change in the RECON mode dialogs is intenseā¦) And Iām sure Iāll find the per-plane targeting immensely satisfying when I do.
You guys continue to far exceed all expectations WRT verisimilitude (YES, I used that word!). Can I please, please, please buy you a beer or three?!
-
Thank You all for the hard work. There are so many improvements I canāt list them all
-
Slothrop indeed used the right set of words. āOMFG!ā
This is such a great release.Thank you very much
PS: we really need a way to buy you guys some beers

I know that there will be additional sources for downloading, but I do not know how long it will take, some good soul will provide a non-torrenting version? I canāt download torrent right now.

Donāt think this is allowed per forum rules. Maybe privately?

Merci pour cette 4.36 ! So many great new things.
One which is not visible in the videos is the new āSA barā or āmini-hudā. We can now resize it and move it as we want.
And it has an AOA indicator, a throttle indicator position with AB range clearly visible. This was a bit missing for me in some cases compared to DCS. Sometimes I want to be sure I am 100% buster, and the Noz Pos is not always that easy to read. Having the position of the speedbrake is also great. Now the BMS āmini-hudā is so much better than DCSās āshow controlsā. All the crucial info is here, to compensate somehow for not being in the jet and feeling accelerations, sounds, buffetting, etcā¦ -
Thanks to all developers

This is awesome, thanks to the dev team!!!

@mean-old-man
What does it do and how do I use it? -
Many thanks! BMS is getting better and better!
Now we just wait for a graphics revamp for .37! -

Indeed, thanks for this release. Especially for

Whoever came up with this setting and its implementation, I salute you.
I definitely agree. This shows that somebody really understands the importance of such small details.

Many, many years ago, Falcon BMS set out to make Falcon 4 better.
Over those many years, they have gone so far beyond that original vision that itās safe to say that they have made Falcon 4.0 utterly amazing, and the more they do, the more they dare to do.
The Falcon BMS phenomenon is utterly unique. Iāve never seen another example of such enduring evolvement with no corporate structure and no money involved-- anywhere in the world in my 70+ years on this planet.

What weāre doing is not SoBad afterall

@b0bl00i If you want to put a switch in the ādownā position on the left side of your cockpit, you use left-mouse-button (the lower button, if you will) and the right-mouse-button (the upper button) to put the switch the āupā position. On the right sight of the cockpit you use right-mouse-button to put the switch in the ādownā position (itās now the lower button) and left-mouse-button for the āupā position.

Terima kasih

Congratulations to the BMS development team.
After working on a small project this winter with a BMS sub-committee, I can point out how professional your team is behind this free Add-On.
The future of BMS is very promising. Already, in my opinion, BMS outclasses everything that exists as a military simulator.
I canāt wait to see the next versions of this simulator when the graphics functions will make more use of the GPU via DirectX. The more the years pass, the better the wine.
Keep it up, you have had my gratitude for several years with your exceptional work.
Longue vie Ć BMS!
Bravo Mike Sierra for ever.
