Online Squadron Collection v2 is out
-
Online Squadron Collection (OSC) is a collection of programs that, especially a squadron flying Falcon online, might find it very useful.
The programs included are:
SQSERVER: The server of the collection, all other programs connect to it.
AISPY: Runs along with a Falcon session and sends all AI traffic to F4AWACS (Falcon still needs to be in 2D map).
VALIDATOR: It has two uses. It can be used to validate your Falcon setup and make sure everybody has the same setup. The second use is to send your plane’s position to F4AWACS as you fly.
F4AWACS: The ultimate GCI environment for Falcon. A lot of new features are present, including IVC Client integration, new Area handling, frequency management, TACAN and ILS management and more. -
Thanks Monster!!

was f4AWACS updated to BMS?
Thanks monster!

Big thank’s!
-
Thanks a lot !!
In F4AWACS, I get an error when trying to import objectives as lines, though… Other options work just fine, as visible on the screen.
-
AWESOME!
-
a lot of stuff there…
well, it seems that something is going wrong with the import function. Do you remember which objective were you trying to import at the time (or what type of objective)?

All Korea Objectives. Just thinking I might have to select airports only as lines, and have rests as auto-icons.
The “lot of stuff” is because everything was loaded (with auto-icons) and names were still shown.
-
Yeah, that might be better. Lines really stress the program and it’s better to have on display only the necessary ones.
-
OK, tried again with everything but airports loaded as auto-icon, and it’s currently loading all airports as lines. Seems to be working flawless now.
Will definitely reduce the clutter before operational use, but I’m trying to familiarize myself with all aspects of the software already.
EDIT: Any chance of having F4AWACS subselect the groups of Areas in Teams or types, so they aren’t mixed, and easier to find?
-
When you import objectives, they are categorized by Team and type. They are all added under a temporary folder, so you can rearrange them as you like.
I just imported everything as lines and worked fine. I can share the export file if you like. It gets very slow if you have everything displayed though.

Good moster. The first is to thank the fantastic work done in the OSC2, is impressive. Thank you again.
Do not know how to say. But in a future update could put in the window F4Awacs saw a field where current climatology. I usually dynamic climatology missions. and also change the height of the clouds in the Falcon bms.cfg. Thus giving a different feel in each flight.
I think watching the weather tower can also act.

Very nice indeed. Thanks for that Monster…

ToquemaoYes, I’ve thought about it too, but, currently I don’t know a positive way to get weather data. Maybe AISPY, while scanning the memory area to get AI data can look for weather data as well, but I can’t say for sure if this data will be accurate.
