Very impressive!
I love your beautiful artwork…. Thanks a lot JanHas! -
Absolutely amazing work, there will only be one model that can beat this: the C model
-
hey JanHas awesome work…
any ETA yet… -
Jan any chances to see the CFT’s as normal selectable external tanks rather than what we have today?
-
Any news?

@NIL:
@ JanHas. Any chance of making a MLU F-16B model? I could imagine that it would be a low priority, but feel the need to ask.
I’m sure I can find some time to create that version. But C50/D50 are first.
Can we wait for the MLU F-16A model too? With PoAf skins, if it’s not asking too much?
And thank you for your great work.

I will make a lot of different F-16 models but first I have to finish the basic model. I’m currently skinning / fixing / adding parts to the cockpit. It’s a bit slow progress at the moment. Two steps forward, one step back… But I will get there. CFT’s is something I will worry about when it’s time to build those.

Hi Janhas,

Install instructions.
(1. Create a back-up of the KoreaObj folder. Only if you want to restore the original skins).
2. Unzip the package.
(3. Check the skins you want to use (there are tools to view dds. I use WTV.exe for that)).
4. Copy the dds files into the KoreaObj folder.BMS comes with a excel document called F16s TexSet and is located in the Database folder. It contains all texture numbers for each F-16.

What to do with the 79th FS.dds file Jan?
I am asking this because i am creating a f4patch for your skins.
Has it to be renamed to a number? which number?tx for the top quality of the new skins, really looking forward to the rest of your releases
ps: when do we get a pilot with HMCS helmed

The 79th (HG2 version), 555th, 510th skins are extra and have to be renamed if you want to use them. I did not give them a texture number because the 555th and 510 are in Europe and the package is focused on the Korea theater. 79th had to make room for the 148th FW texture. I will create for other block some skins as well. I will not upgrade any of the standard F-16 models. Not worth it and would take too much time away from the new F-16D.

I have fixed some issues and added more skins to the BMS Stopgap v2 package. It can be downloaded from my janhas.net page.
Skins for the following block models:
F-16B15 RoCAF skins (Taiwan)
F-16AM RNLAF model with RoCAF skins (Taiwan)
F-16C30 HAF / TuAF skins (Greece / Turkey)
F-16C32 - ROKAF 19 FW (5 sets. 578 is from 162 squadron). The last set is the California ANG 194th FS.
F-16CG40 - Two sets of 36th FS (normal and boss bird). 419th FS (HL), 80th FS (WP), 35th FS (WP), Boss bird tail 8th FW, 555th FS and 510th FS are extra but have no texture numbers.
F-16CJ50 - 13th FS (WW), 14th FS (WW), 480th FS (SP), 55th (SW), 77th FS (SW), 79th FS (SW). HAVE GLASS 2 skins: 13th FS (WW), 14th FS (WW), 480th FS (SP), 55th (SW), 77th FS (SW), 148TH FW (Bulldogs),79th FS (SW) Extra).
F-16CJ52 - ROKAF 111FS, 155th, 159th, RSAF 140 sqn, 143 sqn, 157th FS (ANG)
F-16C52 - RoCAF (Taiwan)
F-16CJ52+ / CFT - Mira 335, Mira 336.A “common parts” folder contains the textures that are use by all F-16’s such as helmet, engine, etc.
Two tails PSD included. A normal grey and the Have Glass 2 version.
What has changed:
- The intake on the right side of the canopy was missing.
- Top tail light and antenna were missing / not correct.
- RoCAF skins have now the C type tail texture, not the A model texture.

Excellent work Jan.
Looking forward to your next work with the F-16 models C and D and your new skins :p!
With my respect,
Nikos. -
Thanks Jan,…

do you have an approximate release time for the new Delta model?
-
I wish I could but there are so many details that it’s not realistic at the moment to give a guess. My working (teaching geography) conditions have improved so I have a little more time to work on the F-16D. My aim is to have the major skinning done by somewhere early November. Basic D model and skin ready. Then adding downgrading to create the lower lods and wings model. But compared to Lod1 a cake walk… but I know you will like the result!

gawd the default model is so outta shape compared to the real thing… keep up the good work Jan
