What happened to the ship fire and smoke when blown up? Now they just disappear.
Would be good to bring back the big flame and smoke and make ships slowly sink.

Really…? Surely this is a bug…?
I wonder why this hasn’t been brought up in the threads…?

Do the AI controlled planes have data link no matter the type?
Because many times as the AI controlled planes or just your wingman moves shows such thing.
For ex. if you use the “say your position” the AI always gives you accurate answer.I’m asking because I’m curious how can be modeled the combat environment before of the widespread IFDL.

One thing i like to see in bms is civil jets or other aircraft. Normaly the sky is filled with civ jets and in compair a hand full mill planes
Now all planes are mill or mill related.
I think it would be fun to do intercept mission where you got to search for the enemy between all those civ jets. Now if you see something flying on your radar you know its mill (friend or foe)I saw something simulair on dcs but those planes are flying like they are a fighter jet (last time i saw it few years ago, i dont follow dcs any more so i dont know the state it is in right now.) And prop planes fly way to fast . I think the bms crew can do a much better job on that one then they did (back then)
If its al ready in bms where can i find it?

dutchfighter …??
Civilian jets…? Flying through an active war-zone…?
Military planes “weaving through a sky filled with civilian jets” during an active CONFLICT…?
Are you seriously REQUESTING a bug…?
(That you saw it in DCS simply amplifies the suspicion of non-fidelity)

@Aragorn oh tell me who other way could mh 17 been shot down… they did fly over a active war zone. Its not uncommon that civ jets fly in or close to a active war zone. I suggest look at 24radar or some other active plane tracking site.
You think warzone = no civil planes. But your wrong about it. For that they need to issue a no fly zone and not all wars did have a no fly zone
Before you go shouting like you did go get info. And also lots of theaters here arent even warzones and like the balkans or baltic there are lot of space left where civil jets still and will fly even in a active war zone (yet again warzone is not automatic a no fly zone.)
Even during desert storm there where still civil airplanes flying on the map you can see in bms but in real life. Yes airlines do fly over war zones or flying close by and not all airspace is when a conflict starts automaticly a no fly zone. So yes civil planes in bms would make it more realisticly

Bor, since then ppl. changed their minds. BTW many of the civilian companies avoided that war zone even in 2014. It was insane that some did not because they did not consider many factors. They thougth only MANPADs can be threat. They were wrong.
BTW here is your F24…
Before you start shouting.
It would be better if you just stopped this funny request and do not go into that…

@molnibalage back in 2014 it was not a no fly zone klm and malansian air lines flow still over ukraine even after warnings ended in shooting down mh17 or do you forget and people are allways againt it but airline companies dont they see only money and if its a faster route they would have taken it.
So yes civil aircraft is more realistic then dont have them.
From Korean Air Lines Flight KE007 and Iran Air IR655 to Malaysian Airlines MH17 and Ukraine International PS752 on this side of the century, misdirected fire sometimes leads to massive civilian casualties. And yet, airlines sometimes continue to fly to and above areas of ongoing conflict and unrest.
Syria is a active conflict zone they still fly above it. Only ukraine is is now as for this year at this stage of the war a no go zone. Go look up other conflict zones other then ukraine or are you living in a world where ukraine is the only active warzone? And like i said 95% of the theaters for bms arent in a conflict zone and even if they are not all air space is a no fly zone. And look up how many planes are shot down after mh 17. People dont learn

Thanx! Bug found and will be fixed.

In times of war over airspace civil aviation is rerouted and classified as unsafe under intelligence and security surveillance bulletins, notices, advisories, warnings
and safety information. The military takes over the airspace in other words. So No! -
if someone shoots down a Civilian airline they will be prompted to uninstall the game.

I could not agree more. The Devs have donated immeasurable hours to this project and hopefully there will be much more.
