F-14D Cockpit

Correct!
Snail, thank you very much for your reference material concerning the AoA, I will need to look at it more closely and then pretend I understood something…:uham: There some info in there that Im sure would be useful for someone building a new FM for the F-14…anyone?Tos, thank you too for your NATOPS reference, I will need to have a closer look to that section but knowing that 0 to 30 UNITS = -10º to +40º now it will be easier to calibrate the instrument… But I have to agree with Molni, if both of them are linear scales why no use degrees?? :???: … ils sont fous ces américains!
Thank you all for your support and comments…
Pepe
If the paper I linked to is correct, than it’s a difference of 5 (25 units = 20 degrees; page 17). That’s something else than 0 to 30 units = -10 to +40 degrees. Hm. no clarity yet.

Pepe, mate, you know the CAT don’t have an ejection handle there…
It’s a couple of them on top of the seat above pilot’s head.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/jasonhaberman/444962582/what Pilgrim said – In addition this is going to be a D cat cockpit, which had new ejection seats, without the overhead handles…
-
D version of the cat was equipped with the martin baker mk 14, with no overhead handles!!
