Subtitles in vr.

The subtitles in vr are showing briefly on my left peripheral vision and I’m unable to read them. Is this just the way it is or does someone know how to move them over so I can read them. I’m a complete newbie with Falcon 4 and slowly going through the manuals trying to get my head round things. Performance is great and looking forward to my first engagement in the air. (Could be a while). G2, Ryzen 5900, Radeon 6950, 32gb ram.

@gogsie59 the subtitles are off to the left a bit but not really peripheral vision, I would say. It’s readable for me. Not changed any settings so position is default. G2 user as well.

Turn windowed subtitles mode off.

@Atlas not readable for me in both the G2 and Pimax, can’t remember about the Quest 2. Previously, you could change some of this with data edits and 4.36 made moving the radio menu easier, but it seems that maybe these and the FPS counter are locked into position in VR, but haven’t investigated as much as I could.

Thanks for replies, I’m going to look in the config files tomorrow, I noticed there is an option for new subtitles and not sure if these are enabled by default.

@Snake122 Just did another flight tonight, definitely readable. Could be better/sharper but I can definitely read it.

@Atlas its too far over even with “set g_bWindowedRadioSubtitles 0” as @LorikEolmin suggests too. I tried turning them back on and editing my 3DUiSettings.ini seems to have no effect. That doesn’t surprise me because it seems windows, like the FPS one are locked into position with VR.
EDIT: I have the new subtitles window where I can see it in VR. I launched without VR, moved it over to more in the center and then was able to reposition it from there with the mouse in VR. I still wish the Comms menu and the FPS counter weren’t directly in the middle, but I also get because of all the weird resolutions, aspect ratios, and foveated rendering of VR headsets, it may be hard to do in other locations

@Snake122 Maybe it depends on the headset? I can barely make out the radio freq numbers on the kneepad so being able to read them from the subtitles helps!
