4.37 Update 1 "messed up"/broke Rampage missile and "autojammer"
-
@janjan
Actually I haven’t tried that fix/setting and the reason is simple: I want to keep playing with 4.37.0 instead of updating it to 4.37.1, this in great part because of this Rampage issue (I enjoy playing in the Israel theater).But if you (or anyone else) teach me out to be able to revert from 4.37.1 to 4.37.10 without uninstalling BMS completely and installing it again then I would definitely try that “Time To Go Active to -1.00” setting.
-
@janjan tested what? Tumbler or my solution?
-
@Seifer Setting TimeToActive to -1
-
@janjan try my solution then. It has other side effects but will help pinpoint the cause.

i doubt it will change anything
-1 as TimeTOGoactive is a garantee that the missile does not fly the AHR anyway
This has been fixed for U2 already FYI
-
@Mav-jp Is the U2 already?

One thing you can test, open your
Falcon BMS.cfg
and look for a pririoty fix line. Change:set g_sPriorityFixes "all"
to:
set g_sPriorityFixes "all-AHR_GUIDANCE"
Does it change the rampage behavior?
Many thanks Seifer. Your recommendation helped me a lot. Now rampage flies straight to the target.

if you use
set g_sPriorityFixes "all"
and change the .dat file as described below, does it also work ok for you?C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Add-On Israel\Sim\Misdata\rampage.dat
setTime To Go Active
to -1.00.# Time To Go Active (sec) -1.00

I only made the change in the “Falcon BMS.cfg” file, as Seifer pointed out - set g_sPriorityFixes “all”
to:
set g_sPriorityFixes “all-AHR_GUIDANCE” -

Which works, but is wrong. Rampage is not a supermaverick IRL.

Bah we know it’s fixed in U2 anyway , since AHR code will not be run on rampage
Do you think rampage had to use AHR anyway ??? (In old code ?)

Did a test of your .dat file without seifer’s fix. Everything is fine. All rampage missiles hit their intended targets.

I understand. But now I want to indulge in these rampages in the Israeli theater (without waiting for U2)

And this is the only munition you can use in ITO ?

@Dee-Jay
Well, you can say so, in BMS, these missiles (rampage) are easy to use, as well as their range, also pleases!
