Depending on the block and the loadouts, there are some you will never reach.

Are birds prevalent around airbases? I would think they would find it a very stressful environment.
I remember an old sim over Vietnam that had cows in the fields. To see a flock of seagulls for ambience while flying over the ocean sure why not, but by the airbases I would think it unlikely.
Raptors to hunt and scare other birds around bases.
With my RPA (remote pilot aircraft) license, I flew that beauty for 2 years, I was in charge of flying and guiding the birds of prey and scaring the smaller ones away from the aerodrome. This eliminated having to use rocket fireworks and firecrackers to scare them off.
Falconry is also used as an art and for that type of work in aerodromes but they are more expensive and from time to time the same falcon crashes with a bird, more than 1 time step, it is difficult to control a wild soul like that of the hawk.
I have very good memories.

@VIPER-0

It never occurs to me, if you hadn’t told the boss and there were already droncats

I’d rather have some questions to the guy in charge of the loadouts.

One of my past lives was as a ‘Bird Control Unit’ operator.
On the course I was fascinated by the 1/2 Mass (of the budgie) x Velocity squared formula giving the Kinetic force for damage! Imagine a goose down your intake…
I saw the results of many bird strikes but the worst has to be a deer strike! Simulate that mess!
As for birds not liking to live near airfields. Nah. They love it! All the open grass areas are fantastic feeding for them, unless it’s allowed to grow longer. (Then you get another problem of fires in Summer…)
Roosting in the Hangars/Buildings and local area woods are another reason.
Trained Falcons for Bird Control are pretty rare in my experience.
Oh and we played loud music as well as various species alarm calls to disperse them. Lapwings were a particular pain. They’d return in minutes! And yes we used flare type pistols firing specialised shotgun cartridges that were like flashbangs.
I loved that job… More to it than you would think!
