@white_fang Sorry, I may be totally stupid, I can’t understand your references. Sorry.
-
@Radium
Bah.
I mean, If I didn’t tell you, nevermind the references now. How much would you believe that above vid is legit ?
Completely, or would you have at least some suspicions?
I didn’t believe “Moskva” being sunk (not just hit) some 7 days after, until video her being towed, taken from towing ship (and deck master shouting on sailor taking video).
Just be careful. -
@white_fang Usually, when I work, here is what I do when I have very little sources :
First, I try to find an reliable information, with some names and references :
-
U.S. Air Force Gen. James Hecker, head of U.S. Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), as well as NATO’s Allied Air Command and U.S. Air Forces Africa (AFAFRICA), provided details about Ukraine’s use of the JDAM-ER at a media roundtable that The War Zone and other outlets attended earlier today.
-
This report comes from a roundtable that occured during 2023 Air and Space Forces Association’s Warfare Symposium, which opened today in Aurora, Colorado.
Then, I try to find an official speech from the reference above (general Hecker) to check what was really said:
-
"Recently, we’ve just gotten some precision munitions that had some extended range and go a little bit further than the gravity drop bomb and has precision ".
-
“That’s a recent capability that we were able to give them probably in the last three weeks.”
From this, we understand that are talking about JDAM-ER. Doing some researches, it is clear that the only JDAM-ER that was extensively used was MK83 based kit :
It is here clear that they can be mounted on BRU-55 rack.
About the Russian / NATO adapter, We know that they used an unknown and rather new system for AGM-88 :
Assuming that AGM88 is mounted in LAU118, on a casual pylon that may be used for all purposes like here :
There is no reasons to believe that USA would have develop two different systems.
Then, here comes my solution.
Everything I do is verified as much as possible : if I have no picture, I always try to keep logical and close to what exists on other cases.
Best regards,
Radium

Hello gentlemen,
I am very happy to present you the last baby of my legacy Sukhoi Su-27 series !
Here is licensebuilt and enhanced Shenyang J-11.
This model really brings something new to what I usually do, and I am not sure it was ever done in BMS.
As the sharpest eyes may have seen there is some extra antennas and cables, compared to Russian VVS and AVMF Su-27.
While I said that all my Su-27 will share the same LODs, I had to find a way to show or now show model parts, according to a certain livery.
Antennas and extra stuff are also textured with a .dds5 texture, then, transparency shows and hides the concerned parts. So simple, but so simple ! And then, it avoids to have different LODs.
It was a real licenseplates nightmares, as there is so much of them, everywhere, to have a realistic model.
What needs to be done now :
- Model debug (there is a lot of things to prepare before a release, especially because this is a multiversion model
- LODs creation. @TOPOLO , I’m on the good timeline !!! I still believe that I can make them all for wednesday evening !
- v1.0 package for public forum community (I hope withing Friday evening)
- Weapon system and final integration in stock DB
And we will be done.
What is sure is :
I want to thanks everyone for their participation here, it really means a lot to me, I am really happy of the feedbacks I got on the bird !
Kind regards,
Radium

heck yeah.
Thanks @cougar56th (and @Radium obviously )
-
@Radium
Thanks for v1.0 and the effort for the community!I have tested and found that some “clipping” still occur.
I’ll post some screenshots bellow
-
The “clipping” is basically missing pylons (and there is one pylon “flooting” around the right engine nozzle) and some missiles misalligment. Also, when you load 2 missiles on the center pylon (ventral) there are just only 1 appearing and without the pylon.
Greetings from Brazil!
