Welcome to this MidEast128 mod for BMS 4.37. It requires the MidEast128 theater to work. That is on purpose, and out of respect for the MidEast128 team.

Unzip the file in you (BMS)\Data folder, at the same level as “Add-On MidEast128”
Add the…
Add-On LMid\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\MidEast128.tdf
… to your data\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\theater.lst file
Check the F16 block comparison for the changes that are provided.
Think of:- block 15 as standard air-to-air fighters
- block 25 and 30 (better engine) as more modern air-to-ground specialized squadrons
- block 40 as night strikers.
If you fly as a squadron in a campaign, placing 2, 3 or 4 different blocks (not set to HQ) will allow you to think of different tactical solutions for your objectives.
There’s a WeatherMapsUpdate folder provided, and starting fmap are already in the campaign folder.

WDP still: If you want WDP to load MidEast map, place your save in the original MidEast campaign folder (just copy the file while you open). When you’re done, retrieve the ini you need in there too.
OR
You can load your mission, choose any flight, then switch map to MidEast, and click “Different flight”. Then choose your real flight. All should go smooth from then.Link to download:

Hey, we are having issues with the loadout in the Block 40s. They don’t appear to have any TGPs available? The NAVPOD is showing up, but there are no LANTIRN pods available. They aren’t out of stock, they’re not even showing up in the loadout screen. Any help much appreciated!

That is actually accurate for Desert Storm so thought that was intentional ?
They only had the AAQ-13 Nav pods and not the AAQ-14 TGP.

@Migbuster The reason I ask is that the TGP is called out separately from the NAVPOD in the sensor/weapons restriction sheet that indicates both should be available for the Bl.40s

Many thanks for your work in creating this theatre.
I’m experiencing a consistent crash when in the desert storm campaign.
The game CTD’s when I’m changing loadouts. So far it happens every time when I remove AGM-88’s from block 25’s, and also whilst removing centerline tanks from block 25’s as well. Block 30’s appear unaffected. The same behaviour does not happen in the vanilla MidEast theatre.
This is on BMS 4.37.2, with the latest LMID version B, and on the latest MidEast version. I’ve tried redownloading and reinstalling LMID.The crash log is here: PasteBin
Of note in the crash log is the call to AdvancedWeaponStation::DetachRackBSP(), which occurs in every crash so far.
Again, steps to reproduce:
- Start Campaign with e.g. block 25 squadron
- Frag DEAD Flight
- Remove AGM-88 from flight

Has anyone else had this issue, any Block 25 Squadron isn’t loading the model and then CTD’s after a couple of min.

Any ideas, tried a completely clean install of BMS, MID128 and LMID and had the same issues :(, Block 25’s work in the MID128 Campaign.

Most likely the database of the mod does not correspond to the latest version of the middle east theater.
There were changes related to fixes for the Dogfight module. (Changes to model numbers in Class table)

“It is” or “it is not”, “most likely” is not going to work with computers.
Again, no problem with block 25 here. I can’t fix something I can’t check.
