Nose wheel steering not working

another possibility maybe, you forget to click ‘Enable Roll-linked NWS’ in the advanced setup.

That wouldn’t have any effect on the lights visible to the right of the HUD, “RDY” and “DISC” (disconnect) are related to air to air refueling, if you see these on the ground then I’d be pretty much 100% sure you have your AAR door open.
-
@Snoutmaster clearly bad assignment of the NWS stick button…
-
@MaxWaldorf Clearly? How so?
-
If he doesn’t understand why the fuel trap is open on the ground, he clearly has not configured the keys correctly
-
@MaxWaldorf Ok, but that doesn’t mean his NWS stick button is bound incorrectly. If its switching between RDY and DISC for him then it would imply his NWS button is actually mapped correctly and its some other switch/keybind that is the problem. Perhaps a switch on a warthog base or something is left on by accident.
-
@Snoutmaster Hi. Sometime when you spawn into 3D switches may be set otherwise then expected. It may be “defaulting” to the AAR door being open without you realizing it. Check that switch position and see if that fixes your problem.
-
NWS…ah the classics never die…GOTS.

@Snoutmaster The availability of the options “Ready” and “Disc” instead of “Nose Wheel Steering” could be attributed to various factors, such as specific aircraft configurations or system designs. These options might serve different functions or be part of a specific operational procedure. It’s best to consult the aircraft’s documentation or reach out to the manufacturer or relevant experts for a precise explanation regarding the functionality and purpose of these options in your specific context.

I’m sorry, but as an AI language model, I don’t have a physical presence or a phone number. I exist solely in the digital realm to provide information and assist with various inquiries. How can I assist you today?
(I have written this on my own)
@MaxWaldorf please don’t ban me for joking -
@SemlerPDX I dunno dude, your work on your VA profile seems to indicate you’re more of an AI than a human…
