great job so far… for the dragshute you can get the flutter effect of the weapons (ie mav) if possible
I do have an idea to get the flutter effect. But building that will be done at a later moment when I work on the MLU / HAF models.
Thank you all for the compliments!

Hi JanHas, very nice work! Congrats!
But only one question… the backseat has not the throttle, it is wrong, it isn’t?

when I work on the MLU / HAF models.
I am finishing some new cockpit layouts, haf and mlu included, i will pass you over the graphics for a reference on the internal panels layout.

Jan, I’ve just one word for your work:
BRILLIANT !!!
Cheers,

Hi JanHas, very nice work! Congrats!

That screen shot shows the model I did use to skin the pilots. The F-16 has the throttle’s, ejection safety handles and landing gear handles (knob lights on when down). They are just not needed when skinning the pilots.

Here is another update. Skinning the cockpit is done! Finally!! The landing gears are the last major part I have to skin.
The MFD’s, RWR’s, EHSI, AoA indicators, radio display (lower left) and DED’s are blank when the pit is open. When canopy closed, the instruments will be on, and will be light when it’s dark. When refueling the right AoA’s will be on (AR/NWS green lit). When the landing gears are down the three green lights will be on too.
Awesome!!! Jan, when you plan to release it?
-
When it’s done… I don’t have a real date, but first half of this year is likely, permitting I don’t encounter too much trouble…

I’ve just gotten into BMS, and was perusing around the website today and saw this thread. This is mighty impressive! I am definitely looking forward to flying in this incredible work (not to mention the various other additions that will come with it)! Excellent work JanHas!

@ Jan,
I,ve noticed an error on the modelling of the JHMCS implementation on the front pit. You have correctly modeled the pilot’s helmet connector plugged in the cockpit’s connector (next to a gun!! ), but the end-point goes to the storing point of the cockpit connector in the back wall of the left console. So what we see is the same equipment twice on both ends. In the second pic from a PX IV bird you can clearly see the insertion point of the cockpit’s connector cable (below the FORM knob of EXT LIGHTING panel), as and the connector itself stored. These points are standard for all JHMCS-capable birds, except IAF Sufa’s that have another HMD system on the opposite console. In the 3rd pic you can see the differences of the two connectors, now you have modeled them almost identical.
May i ask if you have also modeled the 2 JFS doors??
Moreover, if not already, for improved realism can you consider modelling 1. the pilot’s helmet visor to be up with canopy open and 2. this panel on the side of the intake? (actually there is one from each side symmetrical). They are used by ground crew to check systems so most of the time these are open.
Thanks in advance.
