Hi falcas
In the coordination card what is the difference between STD QNH and Force QNH ?
-
http://www.qooqle.nl/?q=Force+QNH or for more information http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Force+QNH
-
lmgtfy.com is in english at least…
not to mention that none of the results answer the question either.
-
Hi,
I understand that many flights or packages will use a commun force QNH to ensure that the deconfliction plan will work. But isn’t the QNE role when flying above transition level or Force QNH is used only below TL ? -
ah, much better - and now the first result actually is relevant.
-
But many questions still remain.
Who sets it ? How is it determined ? Is it used at any level and all flight long ? -

Hi,
I am back to Falcon BMS after some time of absence an this is my first time using the WDP. A shame I haven’t used this great tool earlier.
But I have a minor problem with handling the target waypoints, from which I think it’s on my side and not the WDP
I’m playing a campaign in the Israel theater. My mission is a SEAD strike.
1. I set up all the SA-2 Launchers as Target Waypoints on the Falcon map from the “recon”-window.
2. I confirm the coordinates in the DTC view and click on the “save”-button without making any other changes.
3. I open up the WDP, load the campaign and my package.
4. When WDP asks me if I have changed the DTC inside the game I click “yes”
5. When I look under the DTC -> Targets tab there are no Target waypoint there, everything is set to zero
What am I doing wrong?
-
You are looking at the wrong tab, try the Pre-planned threads tab.

I think the Pre-Planned Thread is only for SAM-Sites which could be dangerous to me?
I tried another mission now where I should destroy two radio towers and I also got no target waypoints in WDP. I set them the same way as I described before. They were Target Waypoints 1 and 2.

Pre-Planned thread circles are for anything that you want to use it for.
You can NOT save any targets waypoints in Falcon (at least not the version you have)
What you are doing is changing/saving the STPT from your flightplan.
Read the manuals:

Just as I thought, it was my fault.
Re-read the BMS Dash1 for Target waypoints….they are “normal” steerpoints :rtfm:
I’ll give it another try tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

I’ve recently run into a small issue with WDP. Sometimes when opening a .tac file it will skip the team selection and automatically give me all DPRK flights. Sometimes restarting WDP fixes the issue, other times I have to change theater and then go back to Korea for it to resume working.
-
me and cutter had the same lastnight falcas.
just a edit not a complaign.gr. speedy
-
Hi,
What you are seeing is exactly how it should work.
The team selection will only show if you have changed the theatre.
Ones you have selected a team, the team selection will not show anymore. You have joined one team and can’t have a look anymore at the enemy side.
This is to prevent accidental cheating. If you do need to change the team, go to “Settings” and click on “Reset Side”.

Confirm highest QNH?
@Belgian:
When flying outside controlled airspace at or below 4 500 ft AMSL (*), the altimeter shall be set to the regional QNH given on pilot’s request by Brussels FIC or by any ATC unit. The regional QNH is the lowest of the QNH values for the following stations: EBAW, EBBE, EBBR, EBCI, EBCV, EBFS, EBBL, EBFN, EBLG, ELLX, EBOS, EBSH and EBSP.

falcas can you make a short cut for injecting the target waypoints in the Flightplan?
ie i have a list of stpts from 1 to 10 with target being on stpt 5. i can refine the target coordinates in the target stpt’s but i can’t copy the coordinates on the flightplan automaticaly… i have to copy the lat/long on a txt and manualy enter it on the stpt page…
