Weapon Delivery Planner released

I think the Pre-Planned Thread is only for SAM-Sites which could be dangerous to me?
I tried another mission now where I should destroy two radio towers and I also got no target waypoints in WDP. I set them the same way as I described before. They were Target Waypoints 1 and 2.
Pre-Planned thread circles are for anything that you want to use it for.
You can NOT save any targets waypoints in Falcon (at least not the version you have)
What you are doing is changing/saving the STPT from your flightplan.
Read the manuals:

Just as I thought, it was my fault.
Re-read the BMS Dash1 for Target waypoints….they are “normal” steerpoints :rtfm:
I’ll give it another try tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

I’ve recently run into a small issue with WDP. Sometimes when opening a .tac file it will skip the team selection and automatically give me all DPRK flights. Sometimes restarting WDP fixes the issue, other times I have to change theater and then go back to Korea for it to resume working.

me and cutter had the same lastnight falcas.
just a edit not a complaign.gr. speedy

Hi,
What you are seeing is exactly how it should work.
The team selection will only show if you have changed the theatre.
Ones you have selected a team, the team selection will not show anymore. You have joined one team and can’t have a look anymore at the enemy side.
This is to prevent accidental cheating. If you do need to change the team, go to “Settings” and click on “Reset Side”.

2 - It s the highest QHN of the area of interest
Confirm highest QNH?
@Belgian:
When flying outside controlled airspace at or below 4 500 ft AMSL (*), the altimeter shall be set to the regional QNH given on pilot’s request by Brussels FIC or by any ATC unit. The regional QNH is the lowest of the QNH values for the following stations: EBAW, EBBE, EBBR, EBCI, EBCV, EBFS, EBBL, EBFN, EBLG, ELLX, EBOS, EBSH and EBSP.

falcas can you make a short cut for injecting the target waypoints in the Flightplan?
ie i have a list of stpts from 1 to 10 with target being on stpt 5. i can refine the target coordinates in the target stpt’s but i can’t copy the coordinates on the flightplan automaticaly… i have to copy the lat/long on a txt and manualy enter it on the stpt page…

Thanks for the info on the reset. What’s odd though is that I have never once selected the DPRK team so I’m puzzled as to why it defaults to that.
Also, a very minor bug that’s usually easy to figure out: when loading campaign flights if a leg of the flight plan has a heading of 180 WDP will frequently mark it as 360 in the STPT info.

Also this is not odd at all. Think a little bit more how computer code would handle things like this
For falcon, you are not joining DPRK or US. You are joing team nr 1 or team nr 2. What name this team has is not important for the code, only for filling a label.
So as an example: theater Artic with Team 1 “The Penguins” and Team 2 “The Icebears”. You will join The Icebears, actually you have joined team 2.
Returning back the Korea, team 2 is DPRK… And so you are logged as joined the DPRK.
That is also the reason WDP will reset the teams if you change a theater.
If you have a clear example when you see the wrong team I can track down where the “reset” is not going as it should. Also, a very minor bug that’s usually easy to figure out: when loading campaign flights if a leg of the flight plan has a heading of 180 WDP will frequently mark it as 360 in the STPT info.
Have not see this myself, so if you have a concrete example like a mission, I would love to have the mission.

Hi Condor,
By clicking on a Strike STPT on the flightplan (datacard) or on the DMPI, you get the objective where that STPT is located.
Select the building that you want to have and the coordinates gets copied to the DTC.
No need to copy and past.Gr Falcas

Here’s a .tac file http://rapidshare.com/files/1727998144/KR_KOTAR.rar
Heading to STPT 5 is actually 180, but when I load the .tac file into WDP the flight plan says it is 360.

download is not working…
You could also send it to info"AT"weapondeliveryplanner.nlThanks

Got your file and fixed in the next update.
Thanks for the report.

I may not be posting this at the correct place. Please move it if you like. I was watching Falcas’ tutorial on how to setup WDP for missions and campaigns. One thing I had problem figuring out is how to get tanker track in the first place. In his tutorial, the tank track was already there and he just manipulate the stpt. What I did in my campaign was to have 3 tankers on station every 3-4 hr. They came from Kedana. Then I frap my f-16 flights to have one of their stpt set to refuel and put that stpt near a tanker. But when I load that flight into WDP, I couldn’t see tanker track anywhere on the map even though “show tanker track” is checked. I tried to white out the map, but still nothing. Something I didn’t set up right. Anyone has an idea?
-
load your TE in Falcon’s TE editor, check whether your tankers are actually on a Tanker mission or not, you may have them set to Training or Airlift.

100% sure they are on Tanker mission, not on something else. That’s why I feel so weird about this. Btw, it was campaign though, not a TE mission.

please share the campaign save files.

a bingo calc would be nice here since wdp has aircraft config/flightplan it should be easy…
based on this one( maybe…??) it could give est bingo fuel
