So…
What do you want next??

… Before starting anything else … this time … remember to coordinate with Nanard first.

PeCa_Chuck will restore the link on post#1.

Nice! All we need now is PL_Harpoon’s permission to add to his pilot legs, etc…

RPG - How did you merge the pilot legs with this mod? With append it isn’t working. Thanks.
-
1# How do you switch to Tacan or ILS navigation?
2# Could you create another cockpit mod with just the JHMCS thing (what is it?) on the canopy frame?

“M” button. Will switch between TCN, TCN PLS, NAV, NAV PLS.

Thanks for releasing this. It looks pretty cool. I’ve added the models to my database as separate models and then set up cockpit.dat files to use the correct lods. All good there. What I’m seeing is the heading/course knobs don’t actually do anything. The 3dbuttons.dat was changed and they light up green circles but they don’t work. I’m running 1920x1200 widescreen. I noticed that there are some differences in the original 3dbuttons.dat and the new one. Some lines are not present:

Yes, I edited “3dbuttons.dat” to implement EHSI.
I just tested this mod on different resolutions.
M button and CRS/HDG dials worked fine for me. -
I started over and just did the append of Parent 1 and replaced 2-5 and it works fine. Something must have gone wrong when I tried to add it in as a new model.

About This Mod
This MOD is created to replicate the cockpit of USAF CCIP F-16.
I have never seen real F-16 pit (even F-2A/B!), so I searched photos in web for accuracy.
But I couldn’t find much of it…Check this out….

It’s awesome!
Thank you for the link, Rthorflech. -
Could someone post idiot-proof instructions on how to merge this cockpit with the pilot legs mod?
-
if the pilot is on normal 2 as the default one (is it?), then the thread about the pilot is valid. also there i have and a step by step photo guide.
sorry i didn’t install this pit to test it with the pilot, but since it’s based on the same pit i believe the guide will do just fine. -
Looks nice! Is this mod multiplayer critical?
-
So I’ve got the new CCIP pit installed in a couple of theaters with no issues replacing the standard pit at normals 1-5. Before I did so, I extracted the Original pit LOD’s. Since I wanted the CCIP to replace most aircraft pits in my Israel theater but not all, I then appended the five standard models with new appended parents to the database. Set that all up and can see them just fine. Set up a BK52 to use my new parents and it loads just fine. Now the issue is the same that I had when I tried to append the CCIP pit, the HEADING and COURSE knobs don’t move anything. The compass stays at 000 x 000 due north and does not move. I can change modes with the knob (I have the default 3dbuttons file in place) and I get the green “hot” circles on either side of the HDG and CRS knobs but when I rotate them the compass remains static. The knobs turn however. I’m at a loss. Any ideas?
