Have been flying BAI and Strike missions. The AI seems to handle the air threat quite well. My airfield never got hit so I was able to fly missions without hindrance. Just started a second campaign, so things might be different this time around.
What is your DCA slider set to? I left mine to default and the HQ only sends up 3 F-15 CAPs to the Lebanese border, which isn’t even close to enough and leaves the border on Syria wide open. I started a new campaign fragging my own DCAs and Sweeps to swat down their air force first.
I also noticed I cannot edit Syria’s PAK without it effecting Cyprus and another PAK, which might explain why the CAPs only went up to the Sur area.

Yeah but close. Wink wink

Your probably right on this. I didn’t mess w/ PAK’s or DCA on first campaign. Wanted to see how it ran on default first. I was surprised that it ended so quickly, but given that we both have had different outcomes I don’t expect that to happen every time. This is a “dynamic campaign” after all!
:headb: -
Yes, will probably end very soon. My first campaign ended at 23:40 on day one as Beirut and Damascus fell to Israel, and Syria surrendered five minutes later.
One thing I really enjoyed seeing in this new version was how the enemy ground forces reacted to my attacks. In the following picture you can see where my bombs fell on an armored column. As I made my attack run, they were lined up in a single row. When the bombs started falling they scattered like cockroaches after the light switch is turned on. I only scored two hits from 12 Mk-20’s. In the previous version (0.97) this was like shooting fish in a barrel. Now an attack like this will take better planning on my part and multiple attack runs to get a high kill count.
7 hours to 2340. We’ll see, 2 camps away from beirut…

I don’t know if anyone has had this same problem, but if this happens to you check it out:
Situation:
After installation, I entered Falcon to change theaters. Upon switching, ITO was not in my theater list.Solution:
To circumvent this problem, look in your “Falcon BMS 4.32>Add-On Israel” folder. You should see a theater definitions folder. Move that into the terrdata folder in the same folder.
Now, all you have to do is go to “Falcon BMS 4.32>data>terrdata>theaterdefinition”, open up theater.lst as a notepad or wordpad and copy and paste this line into the bottom line of the wordpad:Add-On Israel/terrdata/theaterdefinition/Israel.tdf
For some reason it, the installer installed it wrong in the theater.lst for me. it had it as:
Add-On Israel/theaterdefinition/ITO.tdf
Not sure why but i hope this helps someone.

Thank you for the fix. We can safely assume no software ever comes out completely flawless, but kudos to the developers who can admit there are certain shortcomings in their product and react accordingly, i.e. release the corrections required.
Cheers!

Thanks !

6 of these are yours! May we see them sooner or later to the DB too, with a similarly beautiful new model and FM.

Nice PS work
Probably they will not be operational in 2014.
I hope to see a good FM too. Currently all helis (and tiltrotors) have a simplified FM.
