Currently running driver v340.52. No issues.
Is there any reason to update? Are there any functions/features worth updating for?

Not unless you have a 9xx series card from what I’ve seen.

I had graphics issues with CODAW with older 344 drivers and updated to 344.60. Issues now gone. BMS still runs same.

What about the performance in Falcon? Have you try it?

On 306.97 you’re more then safe for BMS!
Upgrading of course depends on your other apps in Windows 7/8 and your GPU!
Haven’t updated yet myself.

I have BMS and HAWKEN. Both works perfect.

You’re most welcome! Glad to hear you like the drivers! What’s your system and OS?

You just have to find the trick that works for you. I found the one for mine and have been able to upgrade drivers for new games as they have come out and still maintain good BMS performance. I am currently on the 344.60 drivers.

BMS is my main “game”, the others are just secondaries

One major FPS gain I found so far is disable cockpit display extraction and use a second PC with MFDE in server/client mode.
For instance I went from 15-20 to 40-50 FPS on the ground in large bases like Kunsan and Kimpo just by doing that. In the air it’s 70-80 FPS.

Great numbers Chappy! Thanks for sharing your tweak!

I recently built a new rig for my sim/gaming and took BMS for flight last night (smooth as silk as expected etc…). However, that was until about 10 minutes into a mission when all of a sudden I started getting the dreaded micro-stutters. They were random and only came in short bursts, very disconcerting. First time I’ve ever experienced them (in any sim). I don’t have the NVidia driver version with me but it was from about 2 weeks ago so I’m hoping the latest update helps (assuming it’s driver related).

+1
AFR2 gave me 50% fps gain.I updated to 344.60 because CODAW needed them, they work fine for me on BMS.

The AFR2 is for SLI only, as in your sig you have GTX 580 3Gb SLI? Never heard of it before.
