thanks dema, i know this edit….but there are more things to fix - squadron stores, loadouts (adding MRMs at leasts)…easy fix
…roles, AI behavior etc. (more educated fixes)I am not sure what is missing for this particular AC with “***”

“***” indicate not done in DB, yet. I’ll take a look see if we can’t point it somewhere usable
Thanks Dema.

Hmm demer seem okay now… Not tired anymore… Or is it tapatalk not showing it?
Nice going! -
Theater runs fine in terms of stability, but i found some minor issues so far….
- A lot of OCA strikes on airfields in Iraq dont target the runways, but “less” important stuff like ammo dumps and radars instead. (airfields have 100% operational status)
- the 102nd ADA battalion at Al Jahra is a Patriot battalion. I dont think Kuwait had those at that time

Sorry Malc,
Failed on Bad Parent……no way to selectively remove them in the tools ATM.
Going to have to Add Copy…sigh…to get the Bird in correctly.
BUT, I will do this, and hope it is fixed in 4.33…
AGAIN, a fail in Data Base editing in Falcon…where as we put something in and did not do it correctly.
“Whoopee look what I did, ain’t she purt’y”
BIG F’n SIGH guy’s…:(demer
edit:wait for 4.33 for this AC…;)
BTW: If some of you smarter peep’s have another end around, please share…;) 'cause it’s always raining in my head and hurts.

The air tasking manager handles targetting of elements of an objective. There is little/nothing I can do further about it. Just out of interest, how far in are you to a campaign?
Re the Patriot battalion, read the disclaimer.

Hi Malc,
i’m at day 2 now 13.00h. Flying Block 52’s with the 40st squadron.
About the ATO, i just manually adjust the main objective and loadouts of all the OCA flights and they seem to do a great job now, pounding those airbases.Regards,

I jumped in the 40th and checked this out. It seems fine to me, the primary target on the list in briefing was the runways at two different airbases.
Sometimes they list secondary targets, but those are always secondary to the primary which is the runway.
I checked the DB and all runways at all airbases are the primary target.

The features of an objective can be set by anyone, and that in turn determines what the ATO assigns.
In the DB with F4Browse you can set the priority of features within an object via the FED ptr.
In the object DB you can set the priority of each feature of an object by double clicking on it. In the Feature(FED) edit box you can change the value.
The object DB is the easier way, as using F4Browse via the FED ptr, you have to navigate several boxes to get to the box that contains the value.
The values are as follows:
50 Very High
40-49 High
30-39 Medium
10-29 Low
0-9 Very LowSo there is something you can do if the values are not good, or if you don’t like them.

As a Kuwaiti myself I find this very interesting and am very much looking forward to it.
Keep up the work and good luck!

Thanks Googles. I hope you won’t be too critical of the theater
The whole terrain engine is quite limited by todays standards, but we are trying our best to make it “approximately” true to life. We also have who I believe to be one of the very finest artists in the community working on the terrain tile graphics so we’ll have a fairly accurate look to the theater too. My dream was a photoreal Kuwait but failing that we’ll make a passable effort. We’ve also had to take liberties with roads (adding extra ones, but not too many) to assist the campaign engine and let it do its thing with the ground war.

Hi Mower, How did you get on with this sir?
No issues, a good change of pace, terrain and airbases very bland but we know this is a WIP.
