Hi mate.
Well did you made the action of adding the below line with “Notepad”:Add-On Ikaros\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Ikaros.tdf
into the file “theater.lst” of the folder: …\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Terrdata\theaterdefinition
Nikos.
-
Off course. I still cannot find IKAROS on theater list inside the game…
-
Is there an Add-On Ikaros folder in your \Falcon BMS 4.32\Data folder?
C9
-
Yes, it is. Just i wrote before, i followed the instructions at the first topic. . Maybe i need a reboot or something… Or something went wrong with the unzip. I cannot think anything else…
-
Check the folder structure, maybe you have a double folder structure somewhere or a badly named theatre folder.
Something similar happened to me with POH. Either that or the Theatre.IST.

Sorry I was long away.
Are there any issues with Ikaros. We want your feeback to make it better

Would it be possible to “align” the IKAROS tower and TACAN / ILS frequencies with Nikos’ Aegean theater? I’m wondering why different values are being used in each?
All the best, Uwe
-
Thank you hoover
The Ikaros frequencies are as real as it gets thats why we use them. Airports have many frequencies we use them in that manner so there will be no interfiarence between airports comms. If there are mistakes in some of them please tell us which one is wrong
-
Hello sparta,
thanks for your reply. I had already suspected that an airport (esp. the bigger ones) has many frequencies and not just one. I’m mostly flying in Aegean 1.3 these days and had noted that some frequencies differ (island of crete, for instance) from your version.
Both theaters claim to have the most realistic setups so that kept me wondering Note I’m not trying to put one above the other here, I just noted those differences.
efcharisto & ta leme,
Uwe

well comparison is easy. u can see the real ones on internet and compare to each theater. Then have your own conclusions.

Not exactly a good advice.
Some ATC frequencies and especially UHF are not published as also are not updated in the sites, so an Internet check can guide to faulty conclusions.
It is more safe in the NavAids, because channels and IDs are published for a very big amount of them.
Nikos. -
Nav aids are also available on the Internet. Not only hard copy.

Cheers from Athens where we had to divert this evening! (too late to ask if Arty or Nikos are there!) … what a nice place!
See ya … and … Yamas!
-
Going out to the night Athens?

Congratulations !

I’m very fond of this theatre, actually. Its simple elegance appeals to me very much. To be completely honest with you, I also like the Aegean and the EMF… and if we get more theatres comprising the Mediterranean and/or Aegean I’ll certainly install and try them all, especially now that I have found an easy way to keep and launch any of the theatres under one F4BMS install. No campaign? So what… there’s so much to practise in a simple self-made TE anyway Keep up the good work, friends, you’ll invariably earn my (and most members’ I hope) sincere admiration and gratitude, no matter which team or who personally is involved in the process of creation.
