Unable to frag a mission in 4.34
-
Hi all
I seem to be unable to frag any mission in 4.34.
For example, I joined the Osan squadron and there are just HAVCAP missions available at the moment.
I selected a factory to attack and right clicked on the target. I was able to select a flight of F16’s departing from Osan, but when I went to select the target from the list, it was not listed.
This has happened no matter what airbase I join and try to frag a mission. The target I want to attack doesn’t appear in the target list.
I have made sure each time to choose the correct F16 to fly from the selected base as well as the mission type.
Any ideas as to what may be the issue?
Thanks.

I bet you are trying to strike a DPRK target in Double Dragon.

First left click on your target then right click on it and select “add package”

List of available targets depends on the type of package generated. Factory should be type strike (or deep strike?). For example CAS or interception can’t set target as a factory.

You have wrong procedure (IMO)
First thing when starting a Campaign for what you want to do is to commit to a squad/ base (or 2) that you want to fly out of. So…before you accept the ‘priority sliders’ you should go to OOB, find
your Squad, click ‘info’ , turn off 'set by HQ for the squad you want to fly. Close that ‘info’ window, close the OOB, Now decide the Priority sliders and ‘ok’.
At this point you should be in a new campaign, in that squad with nothing fragged out. Now right click the factory and set up the TO time 10 minutes past current clock time. (just a general recommendation
Then ‘New’ then ‘Add Flight’ the correct Block (40 I suppose) and should show 36th Osan (check if this is correct always)
Now should be in frag order…Bottom line is if you want the freedom you mentioned, you should be in charge of the squad, not HQ
I just ran the above in RF/Osan/36th Squad as a test. I could get Factory strike mission no problem.
good luck.

I do exactly as he does and it works very well, except when I try to target an ally.

Yes, that’s what the issue is. Thanks!
