mh-60 (sh-60) could be more realistic
I’m not sure that SH-60 in DB bit it’s role (ASW) is missing. For BMS4 helos on CV do not have real function. In fact to be useful helos a new terrain engine is needed which makes possible the real terrain following and LOS breaking + helos also need dispensers.
If we have this finally they will be much more real on battlefield and not sitting ducks. -

I noticed there were EA-18s on the carriers F-16Cm block 50s and the MFDs are color and not monochrome. Have these just yet to be changed due to the early state of the theater or have I missed something

The color of the MFD as I can remember can be set in avioncs configurator. I did not touch that.

Here is some new updates on the way for a6 and ea6.New wingview and models for a6, ea6, rf4, f20, and a37.

USSR and PRC also will be set (at lest squadrons), the CBG will be only reinforcement.
I also try more serious ATO tweaks. -

and I’ll restart the testing ‘job’ soon after, some RL commitments kept me busy until now.

Small hacks from edropper with great results. Now red side does SEAD with dumb weapons. Further testing is needed I plan to eliminate some weapons to give more easier task to AI. RBK (CBU) will be available for red jets.

Actually, SEAD mean employment of ARMs. Anything else is either DEAD or Offensive Jamming (or maybe PsyOps).EDIT:

The whole Wild Weasel thing even in USA started with F-100 without ARM or even the necessary avionics then the F-100F got the AGM-45.
Deep Strike is a deep strike no matter you use an Mk-84 or GBU-24…Maybe I should say air defense hunting.
One more thing, I got the info from edropper the creating Su-24MP as SOJ plane for USSR is also doable.

I did not found nothing but I’m quite familiar with DPRK OOB and eq. this is the 3rd time I make the mod. -

What is your and other experience in general?
Is it more challenging the theater? Is is too challenging?
Did you experience anything from red side what was new?
What weather setting was in campaign? Did you feel more the impact on tactics the weather?
Can you check the stats of A-10 sq? If its too brutal in 2D world I consider to decrease its sq. size.
The next release is a bit delayed. It will be implemented the DEAD role DPRK jets, further loadout tweaks and fixes on both sides.
The CV will be disable and will be changed the PRC and USSR sq.
I will plan to add more tank and mech battalions to DPRK. -

To answer to your wise questions,
1. I don’t know if I got well the sense of yours first, but if you were to learn more about my own testing experience before, I got that in years… the last four or five IIRC, and with some theaters as well.
2. My sensations until now are that this theater is more challenging than the others but in its proper way, meaning that with the Rolling Fire campaign (the only one I tried) you are trying to introduce some new strategic concepts (founded on your knowledge about Warszaw Pact doctrine and war technologies, perhaps? Only a guess of mine here) in a well known theater as Korea is.
3. In consequence of what said before, I’m just experiencing something just new in several aspects showing themselves at the same time… please leave me a few more time to realize well what’s happening and I will be more precise in my next post about, I guess.
4. About the weather conditions’s consequences, even I didn’t customize any settings from the ‘original’ ones, I’m finding out that there is more impact on actions and ‘the action’ on the battlefield. And this is important, also because Korean weather can range from a rigid winter to a hot summer, as far as I know. A summarized example of what I’m trying to explain could be found, to me, in ‘Red Phoenix’, an interesting novel I read some years ago about a fictional revamping war placed in those same geographical area and age. So I’d like to find out also that this matter has practical consequences on all the ‘mud’ - mech and infantry - operations, above the others.
5. I will do and let you know more about soon.My apologies for this long post, only hoping the wait (RL calls, in my poor Country at least) will be worth.

Ok, planned next release it this weekend.
The followings are planned a part of them have been done until today:
- DEAD role for H-5 and J-5/MiG-17
- Su-24MP will be available in DB for SOJ role on red side (in somebody wish to fly in other campaigns, a part of changes are also allied there)
- squadrons for China and USSR are set accordingly to '80s
- CV will be deactivated and turned to reinforcements
- some sq. reinforcement to DRPK assuming Chinese jets which are were used by both countries
- Q-5 will be used by DRPK in small qty. from 0 hour
- More tank and mech battalion to give more ground power for DPRK
- slight sq. size increase for J-5/6 and H-5.
The whole theater will be uploaded not a small “patch” just for sure.

Just a little update whilst awaiting yours:
1. the ‘bad’ guys (those on the red side, I mean) are really bad, could you guess? They seem to be more committed than you could expect.
Well done indeed, on this point, I’m having fun in elaborating tactics and trying to unveil what the hell do they have in those little ugly dirty minds. :lol:
2. About those A-10s, it’s simple too early to express myself since now… better waiting for your ‘final’ decisions to be acted instead, don’t you agree? This premitted, I have nothing against to get the difficulty level raisen a little, but just to make things more competitive. So, we will see further.
3. I have a feeling: this campaign is getting close to become a thing, well deserved to deal with.With best regards.
