Downed pilot
-
In RL are strict CSAR requirements when can be initiated and how. You can report the “downed” situation but first is a radio contact has to be made as a suitable location AND time is required.
This is one of the pointless area of the BMS universe. Long time ago was modelled and existed but as I know it is disabled. In original F4.0 were low flying helos.In real life you forgot that you’re beerbong 11 and downed pilot is your wingman.
Then you report that you’re ready for rescap for that downed pilot cause he is shoot down near your loc. -
@M79:

Then you report that you’re ready for rescap for that downed pilot cause he is shoot down near your loc.Yes, you can report. This does not mean at all that CSAR heads instantly towards to the crash site…
As I know most of rescued pilots were not saved close to the crash site. Why? Because it is obvious where the pilot was hit the groznd. It is better to find another location then try to make contact and find a safe area for CSAR EVAC.
In case the crew ejected close to an enemy battalion or AAA/SAM site you cannot do anything… -

Watch your six. I other words, screen the threats, ID his offender.
that would not be the first thing to do

Thoughts and prayers, and a post on Facebook - preferably with a picture of you and the downed pilot, to show how close you are - for likes.
You’re disqualified

so if i markpoint
BINGO
Mark the position before doing anything else
and that is quite possible in BMSafter that pretend you’re short of fuel and bug out and leave the CSAR to the sandies, they know their thing - after all debrief often says “RS” for Rescued rather than MIA, so the code takes care of it no. You’re just not there to see it

Molni that was from book:
