4.37.1 - Difficulty rotating jet seems stuck until 250kn

I’m a new player getting back into falcon4 .
I have a new X56 throttle/stick all is mapped & working fine.When taking off, the jet seems like it’s stuck to the runway, it’s only once speed gets to around 270KN it will finally rotate. This is with the stick fully pulled back.
This seems excessive since the takeoff speed is supposed to be around 160KN.Just to check it wasn’t a misconfiguration, I did the TE Landing , and as soon as I landed, I attempted to take off again. Same behaviour, jet seemed like it was stuck to the runway until ~270KN
Also a couple of other unrelated questions:
The elevators don’t seem to move at all in external view - maybe this just isn’t modelled?
My Landing Gear is randomly extending - not a known bug??Anyway thanks in advance if I’m doing something really stupid.
I can get a screenshot/video if that helps.

@patsaunders sounds like a controller issue. You could Check your stick on the Axis page of the launcher

@jayb thanks Jayb, yes I have and the check of the axis in the Y axis saturation etc looks fine ( this is with the X56 stick pulled full back:

@patsaunders in the Setup page do you have realism score of 100?
if you selected simplified flight model… I think this is a known quirk of that physics model
don’t do that… clearly nobody is developing or testing that old fm code

@airtex2019 ah huh! No I turned it down into noob mode to make it easy to learn.
That totally explains the behaviour, I will check and confirm tomorrow. -
@patsaunders this is BMS there is no easy mode
although there’s no shame turning on invulnerability, for some of the practice modes and training sessions
and learning to use near/far labels can help learning awareness and orientation, too

@airtex2019 Yes the flight model was set to Simplified - I hadn’t even thought to look at that.
I feel quite silly now - I should have look at that first up - the non-moving elevators were a hint!Bring on Accurate mode!

@patsaunders This time the problem was on your side… but the same problem (at least same symptom) has been fixed in one of the 4.36 update
Bug impacted only non AFM planes and was not systematic, but “sometimes”, “some pilots” were not able to rotate at normal speed. (and for some pilots, it was 99% of the time)
So don’t be shy: if you experience a behavior you think weird: report it
and if you have a good repro case shared with one of the team, means your problem is valid and can be fixed. This is the only way BMS is progressing.(OK, if you do not have a solid repro case, you can forget)
