Middle East Theater 128 for 4.37
-
@SpbGoro it’s a valuable theater
the only bad thing about this theater is the weak and unrealistic F22 Raptor in the usa vs iran campaign.
no SDBs for raptor…
no jdams as well
and only 4 Aim 120C!
Raptor is suuuper weak in this theater you guys should fix this.
if it can carry 6 OFM Aim 120d in the next update and as well as sdbs and jdams it would be PERFECTO️ -

There should be 8 amraams, Jdams, + HMS on. -
@SpbGoro
BTW is F-22 equipped with HMS in RL yet? IIRC it had none a year or two ago, with some vague idea to upgrade it with such tech at some point. -

I don’t know myself, but they wrote here earlier, it seems like it should be.
-
-
F-22 should be same as Korea.
6 AIM-120 + 2 AIM-9 internal no external stores to preserve stealth.
And it has no HMS but may get upgraded in future.

Above, @farazparsa wrote about the SDB, are they used on the F-22? -

Above, @farazparsa wrote about the SDB, are they used on the F-22?Yes F-22 block 30/35 can carry GBU-39 SDB.
2 AIM-9, 2 AIM-120, 8 GBU-39 internal. I think but will check.
Can carry up to 8 GBU-39

@Hubert3000
Yes , that’s about right. Also, I think, it can load A120 instead A9X, on side-door.
So, that could be even 4xA120, 8x39’s … of course then 0xA9X.
but all internally - nothing external -

@Hubert3000
Ah, so, then I stand corrected… now there’s picture in my mind… but, eh, could be some test config… or something else.
Anyway. All OK. -
What equipment can be hung on external pylons?
-
@SpbGoro Fuel tanks, bombs? , aim120… must see some loadouts on internet
-

Has 4 external wing mounts for drop tanks which are used for ferry flights. External stores will compromise stealth.
-
@SpbGoro
Actually f22 has HMCS! on the latest upgrade it can carry 6 Aim120D and 2 aim9x block 2 internally…
it can also carry 8 GBU-53 sdb ii
or 8 gbu 39 sdb internally
its been called block 30 upgrade… -
@Hubert3000 I’m supersure like 100 percent sure f22 block 30 can carry 6 Aim120d in fuselage bay and 2 Aim9x block 2 in side bays
also carry up to 8 sdb ii or sdb in fuselage bay or up to 2 jdam gbu 31 in fuselage bay
it can also carry 2 external fuel tanks on the wings…
the radar of this beast is not APG 77 it’s APG 77(V)1 with 220 miles range against targets with 3 square meter radar cross section -
@SpbGoro no actually this loadout is not correct f22 can carry 6 Aim 120C or D internally in the main fuselage and 2 AIM9-M or X in the side bays.
up to 8 gbu 39 or 53 sdb i or ii in fuselage bay as well.
or up to 2 gbu 31 jdam in fuselage bay.
keep in mind that f22 raptor block 10 and 15 with Standard APG-77 equiped has no hmcs and can only carry 6 aim 120c and 2 aim 9m
but the upgraded block 30 has HMCS and is equiped with APG-77(V)1 a massive upgrade on Standrad APG-77 and can carry 6 Aim-120D and 2Aim-9X -
@farazparsa there are only 32 ship of the block 10-15 f22s in service of the US airforce the rest of the fleet upgraded to block 30 or being upgraded
(yep the same 32 ships they wanted to retire and send them to graveyard or reserve…) -
@Hubert3000 dude this link says hmd not hmcs! hmd is more advanced than hmcs.
like f35 lightning helmet that has hmd.
hmcs stands for helmet mounted cueing system
hmd stands for helmet MOUNTED DISPLAY!
the difference between these two tech is
on hmd there is built in Display in the helmet’s Visor that it can display more info or sensor output on the helmet’s Visor in hmd tech (Like DAS! and…) but hmcs is only hud info and cueing system.
F22 block 30 has HMCS but no HMD
only F35 has HMD
and yes they said it will get HMD soon on the next block upgrade probably Block 40. -
@farazparsa It doesn’t have any helmet mounted display at all. As it says in the link. And for the payload that’s what I said you might have missed a post further up.
“Given that the F-22 is the only frontline USAF fighter not to have a helmet-mounted display and targeting system [the F-15 and F-16 both use the Joint Helmet-Mounted Cuing System (JHMCS), and the F-35 has its own unique helmet-mounted display system (HMDS)], the service has been evaluating the Scorpion helmet for at least seven years.”
-
Correct the F-22 has no HMD/S at the moment.
Current armament options:
2 x 9M or 9X in side bays
10 x 120C or D (6 in main bays and 4 on outboard pylons with dual-rail launchers)
2 x 600 GAL tanks on inboard wing stations
2 x GBU-32 JDAM in main weapon bays
8 x GBU-39 SDB in main weapons baysThe aircraft can still carry 2 x AIM-120 in addition to 2 x GBU-32 or 8 x GBU-39.
That’s the loadout for Increment 3.2B capable aircraft.
