Hi everyone,
So, after a corrupt file issue causing YAME to fail (reported on this threat some weeks ago) I have now successfully installed YAME and got one of ICE’s latest profiles working again. With one minor issue that I was hoping someone could fix:When the profile is up and running, i am getting some really bad latency issues with the most (like there is lag or very poor refresh rate). I cant think why this is or how to solve it - any guidance anyone?

Start here and you’ll find the fix a few posts down
Windows 10 Pro
V 1709
OS build 16299.19GTX 1070 FTW
There have been reported issues with v. 1709 (Fall Cerators Update) and the latest drivers from nVidia. Read on the previous pages of this thread to find out more. Might be a good idea to check if either of these are the culprit.
Hi guys!
I fly the F18C in BMS and I’m interested in making a cabin using a touch screen with the combination of YAME64 and Helios. I understand that with the use of a touch screen I wouldn’t need to use a mouse. I would like to know if someone else has done something similar and what resolution and screen size he recommend. On the screen I would put Thrustmaster’s MFDs with double-sided adhesive.Yes. Check out this thread for more info and a pic of the setup in action.
At least 22" touchscreen recommended, 24" is what I’m using (well, 24" and 22")…. bigger touchscreens will work but the challenge is how to mount them on your pit setup. No need to use Cougar MFDs… besides, if you put something on a touchscreen, the it’s like pressing on that part of the screen all the time… I doubt you’ll get much use of the rest of your touchscreen that way. Stick MFDs with double-sided tape to non-touch monitors.

I’m not sure if I’m missing something but in version 1.2, I’m setting up the knee board with a DX callback which I really like. Is there a callback to make it appear and disappear? I don’t want it on the screen all the time and I’m only seeing the option to go to page 2 of the kneeboard in the callback tab. Is there a work around maybe?

Easiest way: make a separate window for the kneeboard only, set it to no border and masked, and then assign a key or dx to toggle the hide/show

OK, thanks Focaldesign I’ll give that a try.

I cannot get it to network. I have everything set up per the manual. I can get it to work stand alone on one PC using Client Mode, but cannot get the server to send the info to a Client PC. I tried opening port 53000 just for the heck of it, no help. I tried it with 3-D Hook and without, no go. Any suggestions?

Thx in advanceThx for the compliments
Android: only is you use an app that makes your tablet an extension of your desktop (e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devguru.eltwomon&hl=nl)
Win10: if you can install programs on it, you can install Yame (32 or 64 bit depending on your tablet) and run yame in server (desktop) - client (tablet) mode. -

I’ll try to get that for you this weekend.

is this statement from the manual still valid or is it changed a bit in the latest version?
Note: when you do not use the “Launch Falcon BMS” button to start BMS but start it via another way, and
you want to use the 3DHook extractions, you’ll need to manually copy two files into the correct location.
Browse to the /conf/ subfolder of the YAME installation folder and copy both d3d9.dll & yame_d3d.cfg to
your BMS folder into /Bin/x64Asking because there is no longer a yame_d3d.cfg file to copy/paste or my eyes are worse than I thought.
Thanks,

I’m searching for some photoreal images for F18 gauges so we can integrate in next version o YAME. If someone has such image (taken frontal) and wish to give he can write to me. Thanks and happy holydays!
