YAME64 suite
-
3-4 weeks
Hope sooner. We were close to release a couple of times now but then we decided to do something different or extra. Now focussing on bugs only and release without additional features. The difference between current release is already huge -
Been using this for a while now, has some nice features, thanks.
Thereās always a ābutā.
But after about 45 minutes, it just stops, MFDs go black, gauges go to zero.
Hopefully, this is corrected in the soon to be released, new version.
Canāt wait. -

Canāt wait.Strange, I have flown multiple 1.5h+ missions without issues
-
I figure itās something local to my machine but, just havenāt had the spare time to investigate.
Iāve gone back to MFDE for now unti new version is available. -
Following this with interest.
I have read through the posts, but would like to ask a question though.
Can I have a server on one PC extracting MFDās to a screen or screens, (not main screen) and at the same time a client on another PC extracting the CPD or RWR for example to another screen or screens
Thanksā¦.

Not tested yet but I think itās possible.
You canāt use 3D hook dll then but use server/client setup where the client on your main pc listens to own server ip and second pc client listens to main pc ip. -
Any updates on new version?
Also and luck on exporting the F18 digital eng / Fuel panel?

We are quite near to a release. Working mainly on the manual. For f18 will provide in future version for sure, this plane is becoming more and more popular

Yes, manual is being written as we speak.
Some minor bugs still and a large list of nice to haves for possible future roadmap; but the difference with the soon to be released one vs the one currently released here 5 months ago is huge -
I get the following error-message. ItĀ“s not possible to open the YAME-window:

Thank you for all your and FDās hard work. The Devs and community make this a truly AMAZING sim.
Iām thinking about sales on computers on Black Friday. Do you have a recommendation for a dedicated all in one pc or possibly tablets to run the mfdās and gauges? -

Iām thinking about sales on computers on Black Friday. Do you have a recommendation for a dedicated all in one pc or possibly tablets to run the mfdās and gauges? For MFD and guages with YAME you donāt need a great PC. Or even better use the same as Falcon and use a secondary monitor.
I think YAME should run even on a Window tablet, but never tested.Keep in touch as we are quite near to the releaseā¦

Great news on the nearing release date.

Hi! Getting ready to try this, any chance of testing out your beta config program? Iād hate to have to learn one thing now and learn another, easier thing a week or so later.
I will say that Iāve been reading up on the posts here and 99% of it goes over my head. Iāll have a read of the manual now to see if thatāll make more sense to me.
-
I tried the original but could never get it to work, so im looking forward to trying out the new version which I hope will be easier to setup
-
Release comes this week !

Slow and well cooked meals are always the best. Iām awaiting it eagerlyā¦ but take all the time you need with your ābabyāā¦ it deserves it all.

Y.A.M.E. v1.0.0 release
Y.A.M.E. (Yet Another Mfd Extractor) is a suite composed of various parts for a complete interaction with Falcon 4.0 BMS 4.33. It allows flight data & texture extraction, sending callbacks to BMS, launch external programs. It can be used via network or on the same pc running Falcon. You can create your preferred layout using the build-in layout editor.
Here some examples (all made by Focaldesign)
Via DirectX hook you have the possibility to even display MFDs, RWR and DED in front of the Falcon window!
Imeges for tha gauges are from real pics and from the wonderfull TomCatz hires textures.
As you can see in the images various gauges are included, so you can build your cockpit with PW engine gauges, older block, MLU specific and plus some fictional like the ATD, CenterPedestal block 60 (with moving map) and some futuristic digital gauges.
With the correct settings (you will find more infos in the manual) you can build a instructor/trainee system, with the instructor viewing all the instruments in real time.
Get the manual here
Get the installer here
To run YAME64 you will need the VisualStudio 2015 redistributable files that you can find here
Take a look at the manual for more info and see all the possibilities!
