YAME64 suite

Mmm that could be the problem. If the pc is not connected to the Internet the network library used should fail to get the ip address and ence working
That might be the reason why it worked on my Laptop, as it was connected to the WLAN.
Many thanks for the hint.
I gonna try it (hopefully) tomorrow.
Thanks and have a great evening,

Hi folks,
trying YAME2 with BMS 4.35, the gauges work but the MFDEs look kind of weird (the MFDE Server app on the android tablet picks them up correctly as you can see from the RWR / DED textures on the tablet).
Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks!
All the best,
Uwe

Mhh… all fine here with YAME & 4.35.
RTT Texture enabled in Config ? -
Yep, I had forgotten that at first but now my RWR and DED in the android app are back, the gauges work fine in YAME and it’s only the MFDs that are messed up.
Thanks for your help!
Uwe

My MFDs are corrupted also, RTT set to 1…
-
MFD’s and DED are messed up, they show something (just a bunch of lines) the rest work just fine

Hi Hoover,
Is YAME2 a typo for YAME64 or is there an updated YAME64 which would be great.

MFD, DED, RWR exrtractions in YAME are messed because they aren’t adjusted to the DX11 new in 4.35. All gauges that rely only on sharedmem data work fine. All items that rely on extracted textures won’t.

Use RTT client for those or MFDE
-
any tips, or examples how to setup RTT,
I’ve tried it, but recieve an error when trying to run: error stated configuration not complete.
-
There’s a readme file in the RTT folder

Is here a tutorial on getting my MFDs to display on two separate screens? The RTT readme tells you nothing on how to extract them, just the BMSConfig and RTTClient.ini settings. In Yame I can set my screens up from scratch in 5 minutes….
Edit: I see the setup in RTTClient.ini, fairly intuitive especially for the MFDs once I added a couple more lines. Killed the MFD portion in Yame64, running RTTClient64.exe, everything working perfectly again!

Yep, there’s an internal beta of YAME2 available but it has the same issues with the MFDs as the “official” release.

One of my squadmates reports that YAME works fine for him with 4.35 incl. MFD extraction. He’s using a Radeon GPU, could this make a difference?

Quite possibly. I have two desktops, one with an AMD gpu, the other Nvidia. YAME works on the AMD machine.

Is there any way that I could get a copy of that for testing purposes?

UweUwe - does YAME2 still require 4.33 to be installed or does it work directly with 4.35 (and 4.34)? I can wait for it’s release as i’m sure whoever is working on it will want it to work with NVidia cards also… For now I use YAME64 1.2.1 for gauges and RTT for the MFDs…

YAME64 v2.x doesn’t require a 4.33 installation.
