Is it possible to share steerpoint data with others independently of the DTC like you can with PPTs? I would like to designate some target steerpoints and share them with my friends who are flying the same pkg. The DTC/STPT page can save to DTC, but no Backup/Load option.
Guess what the target list is for

Hello Falcas,
I encountered a strange Problem last night using WDP 3.5.3 and Korea Red Flag in its standalone Version.
When loading a campaign savegame for AI flights everything works fine but when I try to load a Mission for the human Red Flag squadrons I get an error message ācreate flight planā and only the first 4 steerpoints are correctly loaded. Everything after the Strike Point is shown as precision waypoint without altitude, Formation, Speed etc. When selecting the DTC tab the steerpoints are looking fine.
Maybe you have an idea what Iāve done wrong. In all other theaters your Software works fine and kept my virtual life saved more then once

Most probably your DTC is not for the flight you have selected in WDP.
Load your mission and select your flight.
You will get a question if you have saved the DTC for this flightā¦ Answer NO.Gr Falcas

Hello Falcas, thanks for your quick reply. Figured it out, my flight was targeting a fixed SAM emplacement which is not a valid target when no AD Bataillon was spotted. Seems to be the key. Another mission with a valid target works fine.
Please keep up your good work. -
Still you should not run into an incomplete flightplan.
See PM.

The % BFL is not a reliable solution compared to the IAA (Initial Aim off Angle)

Okay, i was wondering if you really needed it as an aid to tell you if you did everything right, i see on the popup planning plates that there is a space arranged for that. hank you for the info, you kinda too away a big headache from me, but still for the sake of finishing what i started i canāt figure how to do it, eventually i will find out :).
Happy landings.

New version released.
See here for details and download:
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?5293-Weapon-Delivery-Planner&p=66013#post66013There are 2 additions that you will notice the most.
PPTs are now filled on the map. How much transparency can be set by the user.
TankerTracks and JSTAR circles are also filled.Another feature is that you can select the SearchRadars. The ones that are located on Airbases, Depots or Armybases.
As with the normal PPTs, with only a few mouseclicks you can add the radars to your PTT list.
SearchRadar circles are shown on the map in purple, just like in Falcon. The range of the SearchRadars depends on the range you have in your PPT.ini. If you donāt have a search radar in your PPT.ini, it will take 25nm.
The search radar has been added to the quick buttons āRadar Zoneā and āEngage Zoneā
You can change the range is you like. To do this, go to the DTC tab->Pre-Planned Threats.
Adding or changing the PPT.ini is done in the āPPT Managementā part. You also have the option to see the friendly SearchRadars if you want.
Enjoyā¦

One step fw towards FalconView. 8-)

That is awesome Falcas !!

Thanks for your continuing efforts to constantly improve this bit of software.
A real must have. -
Big time Thanks FALCAS.
One small request. Is there an easy way to edit WDP āTheater.datā file, so we can include our own modded theatres? Is this one, the only one file needing some edition, in order to make it happen? As usual. Great job!

Hey Falcas,
While trying to install WDP 3.5.4, it said I already had a previous version installed (3.5.3) and I needed to delete it before I can install the update. I canāt remember having had this in the past?
Itās probably just me, but Iād personally prefer to also keep an older version on my computer, one that I know to work well, just in case I run into some issues with the new version.
E.g. for some reason, 3.5.4 didnāt find some DTC data (EWS, Radio/Nav, Systems) upon first start-up. I had to insert this data manually again, without being able to check in 3.5.3.Again, I think I might be alone in this, but would it be possible to remove this check in future updates, or provide the option to continue installation regardless?

Greets,
Eagle-EyeMy install also said I had a previous version. Like you, I did not recall that before. I did delete the prior version, but was not able to install the current version. I went back to version 3.5.3.
Edit: I was able to install but when I went to run the program, that is where I got the error.

Un-installing the previous version has always been the case.
Most porbably you had already removed the previous version before trying to install the newer one, thus not seeing the message.Gr Falcas

If this is the case, your previous callsign.ini was not correct.
What do you mean with manually insert the data?
You do know that WDP comes with a set of default values. You can find have these by loading the backup of the corresponding systems.Gr Falcas

Until yesterday, I still had 3.5.1 installed though, along with 3.5.3. Had no issues while installing 3.5.3.

It worked with 3.5.3, so donāt know what could have corrupted it in the 2-3 minutes between deleting old and installing new version?
I know WDP comes with default values, but e.g. for EWS, I use personalised dispense programmes, that were deleted or not recognised by 3.5.4.

I am not sure to which file you are refering at this moment. Are you talking about your callsign.ini or the backup files?
If you used the same callsign as before, WDP just reads your āoldā callsign.ini and should have worked as before.
But if you used a different callsign, that will explain everything. If you are talking about the backup files and you have overwritten the default backup files that come with WDP (donāt do this, save it with a different name )
Than this explains it as well. This has been tested by multiple people the last couple of days and is working as it should.
But in the endā¦ Does it work as it should now?

I was talking about the Callsign.ini, which I confirmed was the same in-game and in WDP. This was read perfectly in 3.5.3, but in 3.5.4 it failed. I lost radio/nav settings, EWS programmes and system settings (all cleared or reset).
The program works fine on following starts thoughā¦
