The future of the sim..?
-
I don’t believe people gather on these forums because they are not “happy with what is.” My guess is that people all gather here because this sim offers soooooo much. People are always going to make suggestions and as my USAF buddy used to say, “G.I. ain’t happy if G.I. ain’t bitchin’”. So, I just think the cooperative side of human nature is always probing for a way to contribute and improve things. And some will take that cooperative spirit to mean that we don’t appreciate all the hard work that has got us to this point – I just don’t think that is the case on average – in fact I take it as the opposite. If someone wants to improve on something I’ve done that means they like me or what I’ve done and hope to improve on it. Anyway, that’s how I see it.

Interesting discussion.
IMO the most important thing to ensure is that new recruits are brought into “the team”, and learn the secret art of developing falcon, to bring the sim forward when the actual team will be old.
Yep, I’m saying that 'cause I believe Falcon will be around for a looooong time (thank god, 'cause there really isn’t much else out there, and don’t get me started on DCS…). -
